Free Program For Timetables Needed

I need a free program that can be used to make timetables. I need it for my University classes

any recommendations?

 

Any spreadsheet software will suffice to be honest, so you could frankly use OpenOffice provided you don't already have Microsoft Excel

 

Alternatively if you like a challenge you could try making your own timetabling package. In honesty if you used something like MS Visual Studio (express editions are free) then it'd be rather easy if you understand how the Windows Forms or WPF controls work.

 

I didn't have the time to learn how to make a program for such, but I learnt how to use Excel. Never knew what it was used for, but now I know how handy it can be

There may be a template for Excel on the internet somewhere for your needs.

My University timetables everything automatically to Microsoft Office, and from there I can download it to my iPhone 4 calendar too. Would be very simple to do too and means you can have your E-Mail and timetable basically at the same place if put your E-Mail on Office too.
