Well, how did you start out?

Hey, I was strolling through sythe and I was wondering. How did all these trusted people start out, what were they doing, how was the experience?

So, post your legends down below ^^

 

Simple. You start a business, maybe get scammed a few times until you have 5+ vouches and it just takes off from there.

And not being a complete idiot is required =]

 

I think he wanted to hear from people that are trusted.

I'm currently starting out now . Just post actively, get a nice feedback going doing free stuff if you can and just generally be nice. I just came from another forum too and was pretty much new there 15 days ago. Now I'm semi-trusted.

what they don't do is use vouches from another person's vouch thread (which got you twc) and bash other people's sales thread.

 

It's hard to give an exact answer to that question. I personally took my Sythe Phat business very seriously when I started here a few years ago, and more than half of my transactions on Sythe are from phats alone.

Kept all my chats with potential customers polite and professional, accompanied with the speed at which my trades were conducted. Answered all questions in a timely manner, and addressing any issues that arose quickly so as to give my customer a great experience.

Besides being part of the community, it actually feels rewarding earning a good reputation as well.

 

Definitely difficult to outline my whole history hear on Sythe but basically take your time to get involved with the community and be a honest and legit person. The rest will follow/come with time.

 

I got my twc for saying I was "trusted" on powerbot a couple years back. Wtf you on about? All my vouches were legit made, talk to all my customers.

 

I'll be honest. Posting "Wtf" to other people on a serious topic is NOT how any of the trusted big guys, besides R2P who does what he wants and is not subjected to the rules, got big. Be polite and courteous to EVERYONE, not just your customers. Then invest a bit of money in a website WITH security features in place. Pay someone $1.00/hour to just sit at their computer and answer any live chat orders and then badabing, badaboom, you done.

 

I never understood why people would do free services. Sure, it's harder to get work if you ask money, but you can ask/offer low rates for basically anything and attract at least someone. I've gotten only a few but I've bought some cool stuff with it already.

I can tell you one thing, being active in the community is different than spam posting to get your post count up. Having high post count and a new member just puts up a red flag for most people on here. To new people, they'll think that 's a good thing but for the people that know how things work around here, that's just asking for trouble.

Start off doing some free services or sell some gold or gift cards to get some vouches under your belt. It takes time but will be well worth it. I'm trying to build up as well.

Yeah, I did free services for a long ass time ^^. Now i'm getting payed, I made 100m eoc so far, and 10m 07 in total over the time I came to sythe. Time to settle my buisness. Thanks Bartons, and other people ^^

 

I never started anything, lol.

 

Personally I started in name sales, and my third trade or so was 200M+. From there I got better names, did a lot of PR06 sales when that was big. Now I just sell names and accounts in 07.

 

Offer elo boosting services for a cheaper price than most, and be nice and friendly to people

I started back in a time where you didn't get your dick slammed for starting a thread or asking a question. Made some neat friends, then they all got banned. RIP Johnny. Now I'm here, looking to get some RS07 prepaid cards cheap.
