Some tips to lower the chances of your account being banned

This is probably a grade school thread but I thought I would share something that I have noticed when botting over the years. It seems that if you use older account creation dates (at least 1 year old) That has had some gameplay on it from previous years and paid membership previously that you are NOT as likely to be flagged and banned. Another thing I have noticed is that if you upgrade your account (do quests, upgrade your gear) that you are also at a lower chance of being banned. I mean think about it, if you are botting with full rune and rune scim at 70 attack that just looks like a bot.. Rather if you are using a Dragon Scim and some dragon armor or something along those lines... The other thing that I have found to be helpful is to keep your PUBLIC CHAT on friends. This will allow you not to see the messages from the surrounding players in the area in turn you could have an excuse for an appeal if you are banned. Keep in mind you are NEVER safe while botting no matter what script/client that you decide to use. Bot no more then 10 hours A DAY.. No human can play 24 hours straight doing the same boring stuff... Bot at YOUR OWN RISK. ALSO, use an accredited bot client most likely if you pay for the bot it will be better then some free bot because the scripters are being paid rather then doing it in their spare time as a hobby.

Happy botting and I hope this helped some :D

Feel free to add your botting tips and tricks to lower ban rate!

Most of this stuff is pretty much common sense. Imagine you were part of a team that tries to catch and ban bots; what things would you look for?

Also, I have a list of Guidelines that I refer to myself. If you're using an undetectable bot, and you follow them, you have literally no chance of being banned. If you break one or more of these, your chance increases. Breaking some on the list increase this risk by a little bit, and while breaking others increases your risk drastically. If the bot you're using is not undetectable, then even following the list verbatim will not protect you, only slightly lower the risk. I did not write this list of Guidelines, and it was written by the owner of a bot site, but I'll copy/paste it anyway.

Yeah I know, that's why I gave my input. Imo, with a topic as controversial as bans, I believe providing the highest quality of information is preferable. Not to say that everything you've said in the OP is wrong, but just that I wanted to make sure some more information and clarification is offered on the topic in general.

The main botting technique you really need to know is how to work the break handling option.

Put it as if you were playing. Then, completely log out when you go to sleep to make it look like you actually are a player, not a bot.

While breaks do help, they don't have *that* much of an effect on your risk if every other issue isn't covered. Bots have been using break systems for years, but bans still occurred.
