Yeah, your pets combined are probably worth up to $100-$120 (because of the BN'd Grarrl, but it's rare nonetheless).

I suggest you don't go first to ANYONE unless they have made multiple sales worth the same amount as your account ($165+ at least) and have vouches. Use a middleman, and the sketchiest people are the ones who claim they are trustworthy and have vouches.

Thank you for your reply! I have never sold anything off neopets like this before, how exactly does a middleman work in this case?

 

Typically, middlemen have lots of posts and user bars of sorts, even if they are not official middlemen (the status of official middlemen requires LOTS of work). I don't know if he's still available for it, but I_DONT_BOT was a good MM, I believe.

When you have a middleman, you have two ways to proceed with this particular transaction:

1) Give your account credentials (username, password, birthday, previous passwords, previous emails, NC transaction log, etc) to the middleman. The buyer will send you the money directly and the MM will pass the account info onto them. Of course, the MM will check to see if it works first. The MM will have to know about proxies and VPNs in order to ensure the account remains as safe as possible.

OR

2) The buyer will send the MM the money. You give the credentials to the buyer, and after the buyer has confirmed the transaction, the MM will give the money to you.
