I love this idea! Provides some incentive to browse more forums than one usually would and sounds really fun over-all.

 

How much support do we need to get a decent suggestion approved these days? >_<

 

This is cool and all, but why? Sure it may be fun, but why make the site revolve around it?

 

The site would not revolve around it. It would be a toggleable feature meant to entertain the users, and to offer a possible economic outlet for sythe's upcoming site currency wallet feature... Much like how the miniranks are a fun thing to collect and trade, are able to be disabled, and are there to entertain the users.

 

It's too linear. This would be a good suggestion for a pokemon related community.

if that's what you're referring to, then uhhh... yes. I don't see what's wrong with that? It's exactly how miniranks are done.

Linear in that it only grabs a specific audience that would be more preferred on sites that feature the topic in question.

 

I've never heard the word linear describe a small niche, but nevertheless, one doesn't need to be interested in pokemon to make the minigame popular.

I digress. Who DOESN'T enjoy pokemon? I've got 10 pages and almost 150 supporters proving that a majority of sythe's active userbase would like to see this implemented, and would therefore enjoy a pokemon minigame.

I guess those 150 supporters make up a majority of this site. If this thread has yet to be approved can only make you assume the worst. I am not being closed minded about the subject.

 

Unsure if you're being sarcastic about the "majority of this site" line, but if you would take a look through the pages, you'll see most of the supporters are of the users who are most active on the site. Most over 1K posts, active in all sorts of of sub forums here: a very diverse and fair representation of the site's demographics. All in approval. The very first page contain's Sythe's ultimatum:

Considering the date of this threads creation and the updates given, I came to the short end conclusion of it not being accepted.

You've got a strangely resolute self-justified opinion on the preferences of the average sythe user and the state of it's technical progress (as far as site updates go) for being a true Feb 2014 user.

Almost as if you've got more than a few days experience here to base your conclusions off of

 

My experience from dwelling on other sites all around gives me proper insight on site installment. I am just exercising that ability here.

Enough with the talk about me. What about you? Your cynical, self righteous behavior is more than overwhelming and should be worked on. Like you said this is my opinion and nothing more than that.
