I know what a solicitor is, but cutting yourself to PURPOSLY go under the Mental Health Act won't work. They have psychologists / psychiatrists who look for people who do that every day.

I was referring too the other guy whom is telling me too get a lawyer...

I'm not going to get into such debate but ok... if you say that then that's fine.

My mother suffers from Posttraumatic stress disorder, Ocd,Anxiety.. She cannot leave the house on her own ( She cannot be in the house alone either, she self harms & so on.

I'm not being funny, but if I started "Self harming" right now I "could be arrested for it and taken too hospital and put under the mental health act... even if it was just for 1 or 2 days ( you still go under the mental health act )

Some people may agree some people may not.

As I stated I have depression, which is a chemical imbalance in the brain.

Being placed into a mental health ward during a crisis is not the same as being trialled under the Mental Health Act - as has already been said, you would be examined by psychologists and psychiatrists alike if you wanted to state your case for mental illness, and it's not as simple as "saying the right things to tick the boxes" - anything short of attempted suicide won't get you close to being sectioned rather than jailed.

I don't know what to think of this because you obviously did it, and like Austin said, I wouldn't want you coming back into society. But, of course you will eventually, fact of the matter is, you wouldn't learn from that mistake if you got off easily. I believe that you should face the punishments for your actions, I am sorry to hear that you were drunk at the time and you didn't know what you were doing. Although, that's the risk you take when you're drinking, and you should know it.

If all you did was find a phone...how are you also charged with x2 assault and an extra count of robbery? Unless you assaulted twice and commited a robbery twice as well...lol...

Anyways, get the best lawyer money can buy, better to go in debt and be free from prison since money isn't the end of the world you can overcome it, but not the same can be said with a criminal record followed by other shit.

I like to think everyone makes mistakes, not to say there aren't repercussions for such though.

Justice will be done one way or another.

Well hopefully you would learn from this big mistake. Also, would stay away from this site until your case is over - as it seems your starting arguments, which is just hurting your mental health from all this nonsense.

You don't go to prison till after the trial. You were at worst in county in a fucking HOLDING cell or overflow pod. When the time comes you will go to state jail and await prison. Learn what the fuck it is you are talking about before exaggerating online.

State jail is typically the worst, everyone KNOWS they are going to prison and KNOWS they are leaving that one so it gets pretty fucking bad. Lul indeed, theres a good chance you will get a dick in your butt. Also you aren't my fucking bud, and its "TO court" not "TOO court" so i'm not too (that's where you use two o's) convinced about your catty IQ comment. Also no matter how drunk I get, i'm still not a petty fucking theif. Rot.

Heres some advice, don't get drunk and get your little brother involved with petty theivery.

I'm inclined to agree with this, though I wouldn't have stated it quite as harshly .

I'm responsible enough to be able to have fun with friends while not having to be drunk to be my "true self." Most drunkies I know say that being drunk loosens you up to who you really are, so in this case you're a thief who beat up two people for some chump change.

Meh, every day I see news of drunk people doing stupid things, I wish it never existed. Being drunk should never be an excuse and it should only make your charges that much more serious... people who are able to get away with running over / crashing into people while drunk and killing them makes me sick. There was a Texas woman who had SEVEN DUI's until the jury finally decided to give her life. Seven times she was CAUGHT driving under the influence...

As for your criminal statement, as long as these criminals come out and don't kill anyone, then have fun. If their damage is only monetary, they will hopefully get caught and swept right back to where they belong.

Maybe now is a good time to stop drinking, in my opinion, you shouldn't have gotten drunk when you have a child. Sure a drink or two is fine, but you need to know your limits and stop accordingly.

Drinking isn't that good anyway when you have a child, so if this experience gets you to stop, I feel this will teach you a valuable lesson. I'm not trying to argue with you or tell you what's wrong or what's right like some of the other people on this thread, because this section is about HELPING people, not arguing.. I really do wish you the best of luck with your case, although, I think that you'll be found guilty. :(

Dang, this sure is scary but get serious bro. You have children. First off I recommend you stop your addictions and then think about your future.

Take legal advice and stop talking online about stuff that impacts the legal case. What do you think your solicitor would say if he read this thread?

I wouldn't count on being able to fool people into thinking you are mentally ill if you actually aren't. Take legal advice first.

My addictions? What is my addictions I'm not addicted to anything ^^ Booze, nor drugs.

I'm a family man.. don't you think I worry about my children? Ofcourse I do.

What is done is done, I can't change back time.

I don't drink ( I rarely drink at all so stopping isn't a problem... I'd rather be sober than have a drink, and you're right it has taught me a valuable lesson even if I don't get charged *Fingers Crossed*

I didn't get drunk indoors ( I would never let my children see me drink they see me sober & sober only thanks for the reply though I appreciate it and I honestly do appreciate all the support people here are giving me.

I know what I did was wrong I know some people here may not like me because of what I did but that's life... I'm not fussed if people don't like me because of this I know the truth and I know I'm not like this when sober.
