Referral Hiscores/ranking

Hey guys
Few weeks ago I got an idea to suggest idea to show our the best referrrers on Sythe.
Richard added referrals to be visible near our postcount, location etc instead of just profile page.


Second thing that Richard added to Referral were referral stars
- referred more than 10 members
- reffered more than 50 members
- referred more than 100 members
- referred more than 400 members

Who knows if there are more? Most likely only Richard, but yeah, let's get to the point and do next step in referring to Sythe

My idea is to add to search top referrers. Maybe top referrers of the week/month/year. It'll motivate us to refer more users. Same as with postcount. It's nice to see how much we post compared to other users.

Add possible discount to donations based on referred users for example
1 Star=1% discount
2 Stars=2% discount
etc etc


........ what the fuck is up with you lately with these suggestions?

 

Support for the list, no support for discounts.

donations are not for you, but for the site.
If you need a discount on a donation I'd personally not donate.

Personally I think the # of referrals for each rosette should be decreased to something a bit more realistic.

Yeah, current ones arent really milestones. First few are, 10, 50 ,100 but 400, why this number? Why not 250. Support for Roary, adding to OP, but not starting from 5 and it would be better like

No to the search of weekly/monthly top referrers. Don't think anyone would care that much anyways. Just add another column to the members list:

 

Could be a good idea, A lot of the time while im using the market people would find me without actually having a sythe account, got me a lot of referals through making them join to vouch me after trades :3

I think if it was to be done then it would need the lower amounts like Roary suggested.

 

Nah no support. Don't see a need, nor do I see it being active enough to warrant any such thing.

 

I was thinking this, however it could be active, but more than half of the members are not even genuine to begin with. No support.

Anyway, I like the idea. The postcount toplist and referrer toplists can just be linked right next to each-other.

 

If this was to go through, I think it would be interesting if banned referals were counted as minus points, get a more accurate representation of the people you're bringing to Sythe
