Death of 07 after Pre-Eoc comes back?

I'd play again on pre-EoC since I have a maxed barrows pure. Couldn't be bothered to start from scratch with 07 even though I love that style of play the most.

 

Nah, they will be completely different games.

 

not gonna be pre e0c, will be duel weilding with specs etc. 07 will lose some players but wont lose all of them.

 

It could potentially be a benefit to 07scape?

I'll stick with old school. I really like the custom things that jagex updated for us..

 

i was going to start to play RS2007 but when i heard about this im excited to play RS3 !

 

^Haha but The only thing Im wondering again is how much the rate of 07-rs3 gold will change. I think the rate is 1:9 or 1:8, not sure but yeh :/

God yes! The rs3 graphics are horrid, way overkill. If I cared about graphics I wouldn't be playing a darned web-based game >.>

Exactly! They overlooked the fact that the simplicity of the game was very much part of its appeal. There were subtle complexities but nothing too dooming. Nek minnit, Jagex be like oh hey have this interface that no one likes, and all these abilities, even though everyone loves the hack and slash, have them anyways. Oh and you spent a year training up your pure? Here, let me kill the combat system even though no one has an issues with it.

 

It would hardly be the death of 07, too many people have put massive amounts of time into the game to just up and leave, and it wasn't only the combat system people left for, we have pures, we have the wilderness, we have the basics that made scape great, if I wanted to play something button spam then i'd of fucked off to another game a long time ago.
