07 Botting?

I haven't botted since the whole soul wars bots. So you can say it's been a bit. How safe or well is Botting in 2007 rs it it now?

 

Botting is not safe and won't be again. You have a fairly high rate on pretty much anything your wanting to bot. Private scripts in uncommon areas will lessen your chances, but its still risky no matter what.

They've tightened up quite a lot with banning bots.

 

So it's definitely not like the old days?

 

Definitely depends on what type of botting and how suicidal you are with your bots.

I've been botting on 5 accounts and had zero bans so far using all types of bots but I usually only bot for 7-8 hours with breaks and then let it "sleep" for 6 hours or so.

If you baby your bot and don't do the common ban bots then you should be safer.

 

Is there a thread that says what skill is high banning rate right now?

 

Hunter and WCing are generally your two biggest, from what I have heard. All we have to go off is the number of people complaining about bans

I've noticed an increase in the amount of bans at mining guild, but other areas seem to be okay. The more common the training / goldfarming method, the higher the ban rate (as a general rule).
