Temperature where you live?

I'm fed up with the weather here. I live on the Canadian prairies and it's gotten increasingly cold every winter. We had a nice melting period from a chinook a couple weeks ago but that didn't last long.

Today, it is -26°C/-14°F, but with the wind it feels like -40°C/-39°F. It was -50°C/-58°F last week. Looking like it'll be pretty much the same -40°C with the wind all week, shiver me timbers. Hope the wind lets up.

Make me feel better and tell me about your warm weather, or let's northerners/southerners empathize with one another for our icey wasteland homes (at least for part of the year)(I truly doubt anywhere except Antarctica is far enough south to be anywhere near -26°C w/o wind).

 

Atm -3 In sweden and HEAVY snowstorm about to hit us warnings have been given to large parts of Sweden. With winds that pile up the snow to 1 meter deep at some places. :O

 

It has averaged around -7 to -10 in the morning here. That is extremely odd here.

Where is "here"? Is the norm more or less than those numbers?

Ahhh, you've the gulf stream to thank for that high temperature. Good luck in the storm. I'm sort of envious, I really enjoy storms. Property damage is never fun though. Take a video of you jumping off a roof into a snowbank for us

 

Been ranging from -2 to 3°C average each day. But with wind it is a little colder.

I feel bad complaining when you guys get it so cold though, but you're used to as cold as it gets, if that makes sense.

Yeah. Without the gulf stream it would be cold as f.. The storm was kinda intesive its stopped now though.

 

It's like -2F here right now without windchill.

Yesterday it was like 20 without any wind and i had the shorts going on with a hoodie.

 

Right now it's -19C but we've been dipping down here and there below -25. Could be a rough winter just yet.
