Advice for vouches

Hi, as a new (account is not new but my trades are) member of the Sythe community, can anyone give me advice on becoming a trusted trader with vouches?

Now, I mostly like dealing with Paypal when I buy things, but as expected, a lot of people only deal with trusted traders when using Paypal, so I'm having a hard time finding a trade.

Any advice on quick and easy vouches to earn trust?

 

My advice on getting some quality vouches that aren't too hard to earn would be offering free services. Offer to train skills or do easy quests. Now, it's against the rules to ask for a vouch in your thread, but 99% of the people will be nice enough to vouch for you after doing a service like that without you having to ask for it. If you have a bunch of "quick and easy vouches," no one's going to trust you with PayPal anyway. Free services are a good way to start, but then you'll probably want to move into something else where you're in more of a position of trust.

 

What I have been doing is, trading people I deem trustworthy and buying via paypal. Get a few trades in from people and getting some vouches. How I have seen it, you gotta spend a little money, to start earning money. Once people have seen you've done trades with paypal, and no one has complained in the those few trades it will maybe let them feel more comfortable about trading you paypal.
If anything, depending what market you are more interested in. Try and buy the item with rsgp or riot points(if you play LoL). That way you can get your item, but still make the trade.

 

You could donate to show that you're not going anywhere and that you aren't going to scam. Depends on the amount though.

I know what you mean. I would say 100$ or more gains trust right away.

 

I'm usually less inclined to trust someone who donates a substantial amount of money shortly after joining the site. Smells like a ban evader.

 

Get SVU (Sythe verified user) if you are using paypal. It will definitely add a cushion for your customers.

 

Don't look for quick and easy vouches, they're worthless.

Look for the trades you want, offer to use an OMM, Deal with trusted traders for your first trades, you're safe going first to a lot of big people, they can vouch for you after a trade.

I wouldn't donate just for the sake of trust as I don't feel it would help you too much.

Paypal is a pretty horrible thing to deal with as far as online transactions go, it's fine while dealing with physical goods though.

As I said earlier on, just trade with caution, offer to use an OMM and the likes, if people are refusing to deal with you just because of post count when you're offering all the safety sythe has to offer then find a new person and don't deal with them.

Free services is a way of getting some vouches, also having S.V.U will attract more ppl in a sense that sythe holds your personal information. Although I would say donation isn't the best way of trying to be "trusted", it does help in a sense that that amount of money you donated is at risk if u scam and get banned. Once you gain a substantial amount of vouches, offering free MM services is another way to build up your rep and vouches. Gl mate
