How does Jagex detect rwt?

I wanna buy a decent amount of rs3 gp, 150m to be exact. How would Jagex know if I'm a cheat or not? And what pre cautions can I do to avoid be banned?

I have previously brought gold in smaller quantities before, 70-90m and not been caught. I would buy in smaller quantities however it's much cheaper to buy in bulk.

 

Usually if the sellers have a low level account thats f2p or something is usually when i get banned.

 

Well my account is quite high level, 2292 total with a decent wealth, would it be safe for me to buy 150m in bulk? Or would that raise suspensions?

150M is nothing. They won't ban you for that.

Well, ^ they really building up their things to detect it but any amount matters. I'd suggest you know to be catious around and talk in skype not Rs, My cousin gave me gold membs (170m) and nothing happened. Remember if Jagex don't got proof then you good

 

Yeah I was initially thinking of just buying gold with a brand new account but then that would probably raise a lot of suspicion if a brand new level 4 account acquires a substantial amount of cash.

 

They don't ban you for that amout, I bought 650M from a goldbuying site and I'm not banned.

I've bought 1-2B at the time from R2Pleasent.com on multiple occasions, never been banned.

I also sold 6B to a guy at my university earlier this month, the account I used to sell the gold got banned and nothing happened to the guy I sold the gold to.

 

Well I have been using rsorder for awhile now but I want to try other websites to see if they offer cheaper prices, but the thing is I pay by paysafecard which not many websites accept. I don't suppose anyone knows any trusted websites that accept paysafecard and sells at a reasonable price?

 

Depends on who you get the money from. Even with drop trading and other methods, I'm sure they can detect the last owner of the gp.

 

If you're going to RWT, do not risk doing so on your main account. Making a mule and transferring it over significantly lowers the risk of getting banned, at least in my experiences.

 

I feel weary about lv 4 accounts with a decent amount of money. These are the most obvious for RWT, however, no matter the amount, its a risk when buying gp. Be aware that even though your a high level, you could get potentially banned for it :/

 

All the gold I have bought on sythe has been traded to my main 2150 no bans yet. Biggest trade was like 3b.

 

if you're a buyer, they most likely wont ban you. Its the sellers they ban.

I believe they have a script that tracks trades and text chat, and they look at sellers that trade multiple people and receive big quantities of gold in one trade. Thats just my view, not sure if thats how they exactly do it.

 

They rarely ban buyers.

The way they "Detect" RWT is by monitoring known RWT accounts and linking the accounts they trade to it. For example, I sold ~2 bil to a Chinese company and the account I traded with was banned the next day. However, the account I traded the gold to still wasn't banned a week later when I sold to them again. Instead of outright banning anyone who buys/sells gold, when they catch someone, they just monitor their accounts to catch others.

I don't think anyone (short of being a staff member of jagex), can truly answer that question. We have ideas, but not a whole knowledge on how they do it.
