RS07 isnt dying

The game peaks at 25k players at the moment, which is a lot more than it did a couple of months ago. I'd say all these exciting upcoming updates are bringing players back to the game which is a good sign. ^_^

Dumbass? Sorry to disappoint you by telling you the truth. This game is going nowhere. It's meant for nostalgic players to reminisce the past game. With it's graphics, content and community, you can expect the game to gradually decrease overtime.

 

Tbh I think they has been an increase in the amount of people on rs3

I feel like there has been in increase in rs3, but not much of a change in 07. And if anything if there are an increase in people, most likely its due to all the bots.

 

2k players on 2 worlds and rest are 200-300. pretty sad tbh

 

It's been steady for a while now. No real noticeable rise or fall in players.

Its increased alot due to yt i think. One of the Team Crafted members (deadlox) just recently started makin Oldschool series and he has 200k subs on his gaming channel.

I think it's probably bots. There's been alot more online in the past week since ban rates went down.

Old School certainly isn't dying. There are substantially more players online regularly now than there were a couple of weeks ago, and they're not all bots. Worlds are more active in general.

Regardless, the game's clearly not dying - at least not yet. The playerbase hasn't shrunk since the initial exodus post-release.

 

There are a lot of players, some people may say it's dead because certain activities may not be as popular as they were before, but it's an 07 server remake, they can't expect everything to be the same, in terms of how many people are playing said things.

I think they have a lot of cool, new updates for the game, that will just attract new players

25k may be more than other months, but also keep in mind that there are many bots and that runescape has been on a decline since 2012

 

eoc will die before 07. no matter the amount of bots, even if 1/5 is bots gathering gold, there has to be buyers for that gold and that = dedicated players.
