What PSU should I get for this build?

The build that I'm planning to make with no PSU:

So currently I'm very tight on money so I can't afford a expensive PSU which is the reason I bought the 79.99 I guess if I have to I can go higher, but the lower and the quality for that price will be better for me.

For starters, that 3rd stick of RAM is a waste. That MOBO is dual channel which means you should be utilizing it, else the performance will suffer.

 

Call me noob, but how can I utilize the dual channel on my MOBO. As for the 3rd stick I got rid of it as soon after I posted because I seen how useless it was.

 

Dual/Triple/Quad channel basically means just that. The RAM channels are optimized to utilize 2, 3, or 4 identical sticks of RAM. In your case, 2

 

Ahhh I get it, but what PSU should I still get.

 

You'll need a ~600-650W PSU, and at least 2x PCI-E 6+2 connectors, which that PSU you lsited has. I'd however, recommend going w/ a modular to help with cleanup of wires. Up to you.

 

I think I will stick with semi or full modular just because of the increase in airflow when I hide the wires behind panels.

XFX 650W or Corsair CX 650W

 

650W should be beneficial. Be sure not to go cheap and make sure the power supply is well reviewed.

 

I made sure it had good reviews and I chose a 750W
