Runescape gambling?

So this site is a very legit place to buy/sell/trade but what if it was a site to also gamble on? Maybe we can add a new feature or a "mini-game" to gamble. The concept would be simple of course. Anyone trusted member would basically be a "rank" on sythe and would have max buy ins. A buy in can range from EOC gp to 07 gp. The Ranks could buy a person in from 100m buy in to 10b buy ins depending on there rank. Most people wont be doing so much as 10b but for people who do they cant be insured that they wont be getting scammed in any way because they are dealing with a highly trusted member of the community. And another good thing about this could be the variety of games offered? The site could offer dice duels, 50x2 or 55x2 games, dice duels, Black Jack, virtual death match, Lottery, and Texas holdem, roulette, and Bingo with a progression system so if no one wins the first bingo round it can just rack up in the jackpot.The best part about the games is that you would be playing against other players and not the house, so in theory you will have a fair chance of winning or losing. The only problem that comes to mind is that people will get trusted just to scam. The problem with that it takes a fair amount of time to get trusted and to scam what 100m 200m? Sythe can also add a feature that the people who do want to host this game have to add rsgp to the sythe fund. So people that do get scammed and have proof will be able to get a full money refund including your payout. I personally think sites like BigBoiBets are made just to make money. They have host take a small % out of there cashouts which is just not fair. Yeah, I agree why host if its nothing in it for the host? But there is...the 50x2 and 55x2 and roulette games in those games the player will be playing against the host and not runescape players. The host is just not a host. I think I forgot to mention they are also players and people who help cash in and cash out. The money that is cashed in would be kept on the a "mule" account so the host dont lose money cashing out. I really haven't thought of a way to hold the money because say a player wants to buy in so they buy in with 10m to a host and then a hour later they win 100m from other players but those players cashed in with different host so the host that is cashing out the 10m lucky winner is basically losing 90m and the host that cashed the 100m in those players made a profit of 90m i guess we could stay like that but then no host would be willing to cash out profits? So yh i think thats a flaw in my system but yh thanks for reading Any suggestions i guess just post here..oh btw i know mods have some gambling games such as Dave i know Dave runs a 60x2 game but this could bring everyone in the RS community together for some fun. So yh suggestions can go in the comments if any mods read this and thinks its worthy please pass along and share it I did look around into this....and people are doing dice games and poker games by them selves... so i guess my system could be a way for those solo people to come into a whole system of doing this...I also forgot to mention that the games will be explained by me if the idea does go through because i dont think most people know what virtual death match might be or what progression bingo is or they just forgot what ever the case may be I will explain it if the idea does get approved.

Well its not like runescape can be the only way of gambling. If this system does get going then i suppose we can have a different tables for different currencies the only thing i dont like about the current forms is that everyone is doing everything by themselves and its not like they have a system that holds everything and they have to keep track of it by each bet. What about the people who want to just dump there cash in a system and just play for as long as they can and not worry about the constant trading of the gold. This is also safer because the more you trade one person in runescape gold for nothing the more jagex will catch on and eventually ban you for gambling. The system here is much safer in my opinion. You only have to trade a player once and give him the gold and then you can play for as long you want. But thank you for your opinion and time to read this thread.

Well mate you haven't seen solo players i guess..if you really didnt like gambling you wouldn't be on this site. Dave and even Sythe himself have dive games running this is just a form of way to get all of those solo host under one roof so everyone that gambles can have a fun time. And sythe is a gamble everywhere you go..your gambling your odds on accounts and gold that you buy. You gamble your cash into accounts that may or may not be recovered for enjoyment but who knows you will receive enjoyment? tbh we already have quite a good system for gambling and i dont think it should be changed anytime soon

 

Personally, I wouldn't want to see Sythe encourage gambling. A lot of Sythe users are ~18 right now, some of them gamble already and a few in particular have lost a serious amount of money just from a gambling addiction.

This could bring more activity, but personally I wouldn't want to see gambling encouraged here, especially as many users are still pretty young and vulnerable to gambling.

 

Sythe officially endorsing gambling will never, ever happen. Richard himself will tell you so once (if) he sees this. The legal considerations of running any sort of gambling are substantial, and he wants nothing to do with them. He's said it before himself, in fact, although I can't be arsed to find his post. The only reason dice gambling is allowed is that the site is simply providing a random number generator that some users happen to be choosing to use for private wagers.

No support for me. I don't want Sythe to turn into a site that outright allows gambling. Yes we do have the sandbox for competitions and such, but its is all voluntary and that is the way it should be.

 

What system mate? Oh, you mean those multiple trade host like Dave and such? Not much of a system if you ask me. The definition of a system is a set of connected things or parts forming a complex whole, in particular. We have no set of connected things with all of the people that are hosting by themselves.
