Whats the best thing youve ever done for someone?

The best thing I ever done for someone was probably helped a old couple move their things upstairs in their house.

 

Did they pay you?

 

Yeah, they did. Well, I wasn't doing it for money. I just wanted to help them because I'm in this program where we help people when they need it. The couple was nice and gave me some money for helping them. I spent like 30 minutes moving boxes.

 

Tough question. I bought my friend a sweater the other month ...

 

I helped my friend to stop getting ripped off by some guy whom she thought was being nice to her when in face he was lieing to her and just taking advantage of her kindness

 

Hmm I can't narrow it down to just one thing. I've given people a place to stay when they needed it, I've helped people out with money, I've helped friends get off drugs, I've given people advice that helped them see the reality of things and they made a change in their life because of that, supported others through tough times, I've kept some of my friends from getting beaten or killed because I always had their back in certain situations. I usually only think about all the bad things I've done, but it's good to look back and see the positive for a change.

 

There are many things I'm proud of helping my friends do, but perhaps the most painful one was helping my friend get past his first relationship which took like couple of hours a day for like a week. -_-

 

Just being there for people when they need someone to talk to when they're at rock bottom, it's invaluable

 

I have to agree with this one. I cant count the amount of times I've been there for people when they are seriously, about to end their life. In one aspect you could say your saving their lives, but just the fact I helped them through it, I think thats what anyone should do for a friend.

 

I've done several things throughout my life that could be consider great and thankless but really something that is very important that I try to do regularly is just be there for people who need someone.

Being available to talk, ask if everything is alright, and reassuring people are huge things for me and I like to think they make an impact on other people's lives.

 

Help my friends copy my homework to get good grades

 

Loved unconditionally.

 

Loaned my mom money for bills years ago, never mentioned repayment.

 

I dont know about ever but I recently used my clout at the company I work at to help a new guy keep his job..
Hes unskilled, fresh out of prison and young (22 been in prison since 18) my boss was going to shitcan him but I reasoned with him to help the guy out.

He is living in a hotel room atm and his family has disowned him so with no job he would be homeless in a hurry and apt to go back to his old ways (dealing drugs).

The guy isnt all that smart and isnt familiar with tools or the work but hes earnest and a hard worker so I thought he deserved another chance. Since then ive been giving him a ride to work and teaching him all I can. He isnt the type id normally hang with but I cant help but like the guy and want him to get back on his feet.

 

I gave my 270 games 8 digit to a kid who fell for a stealer executable.

 

I gave few low digits steam accounts for free ;d

 

spent $400 on subs to get my mom off heroin, which was a waste of money... but i tried. however, she's clean now.

 

(Not sure if this is the "BEST" thing i'v done for someone but pretty good)

Not too long ago, i just went to my friends house, told him to come in the car with me, I took him to the local smoke shop, and bought him a vaporizer and a few liquids to get him to stop smoking so many cigarettes.

& it seems like it's working

 

I am the same as Roary. I am always available to those that need help or have hit rock bottom. I have literally saved 3 lives (someone from drowning, heart attack, and car accident) and attempted to save one but it was too late. I have given money to strangers & friends, fed strangers, paid it forward at drive-thrus and gave a homeless person a place to sleep for a month.
