    Preventing chain bans question.

I've recently began botting a new pure just for fun. All is going well, botting using a decent script that if it were to give it a ban it would probably just be a bot busting moderate which I'm assuming so long as I wasn't logged into my main it wouldn't chain the two accounts together and also ban my main? Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Now I've been considering botting some other skills with a different script that could be perceived as a gold farming script and thus a major for gold farming could be applied. This is where the real question is. I made the account on the same IP as my main used to regularly play before University, if i were to get a major for gold farming or even a bot busting moderate would my main be affected? Would they flag my IP as a gold farmer and as soon as I logged into my main next it would get permed? If so is there a method I can continue to bot whilst keeping my main relatively safe? Note I have static IP and thus doesn't change often if that has an effect.

Thanks for any answers you can provide.

Your Main account will be safe, if you don't bot on him.

From things I've heard from other users this is not entirely true:(

Any macro bans on any of your accounts will flag your IP. While this won't guarantee other bans, it will increase the risk by a lot.

If I've never botted and never plan on botting my main but I get a gold farming major on a mule will my main be banned?

Changing my current question. If I were to receive a macroing major or a gold farming major what are the odds my main would get permed aswell. Note: my main is rarely logged on and in addition to that question what prevention methods could I go use to attempt to stop this from happening?

It's not really likely, but not unheard of. Imo if you never bot on your main you shouldn't really worry about it.

You need to stop logging into your main from the same I.P you're botting on, if you rarely login to the account it might be worth connecting through some kind of proxy each and every time you do.

As of right this minute I'm still botting on an IP that can be traced back to my main. A few have told me my main will be banned a few others have said I will be fine so long as they do not interact and the main is not botted at all. I'm considering buying a cheap vps/vpn to put my mind at ease and since it wouldn't be that hard to recoup my losses on it while botting. Thoughts/Suggestions?

I've heard of both cases happening. I believe more likely than not as long as you don't bot on your main, and don't interact with your main/bot together, AND (ideally) don't be on your main and bot at the same time, then your main should be fine.

But I HAVE heard of a FEW cases in which a legit main has been banned before just because botting was done on the same IP, however this seems to be quite rate.

And no, getting a VPN/VPS/Proxy will not help you (that much) now.
If you've already botted on another account on the same IP as your main, it's not like changing the IP of the botter will do much, the original IP still links them both together. Ideally though, for all of your next accounts you bot use a VPN/VPS/Proxy though to be safe.
