Time Travel..

If you had a time machine that could bring you anywhere you wanted to be at any time ever, what would you do?

Once you go back in time, you cant come back!

If you go forward in time to see how your life turns out/how long you'll live/if you ever get rich off of selling rs accs/ETC... you can't go back either, so if you're dead then you're dead.. but you never know if 20 years from now they may have something that can keep people alive forever!

And another, if they ever did find something to keep people alive forever there would not be enough room for everyone.. we would have to move to different planets and eventually different planets.... which would mean better technology.


Edit: What about the butterfly effect as well, if you go back in time everything you do would effect how stuff will happen in the future (Present)

 

Learn the winning lottery numbers, go back a few days, win the lottery, and continue on with my life.

 

What if other people did this too, it would make the lottery worthless!

 

I would get all the winning horses, boxers, and other games along with lottery numbers for major and local lotteries. Then ball out like Bill Gates.

With that said, I would go into the future and figure out lotto numbers, stocks and real estate prices! However if, I can return to the past I wouldn't want to shorten my life and I would continue living it as it happens. No rush, life is good while in college!

 

Irrelevant, you said if I had a time machine, not if the world had access to time machines.

If everyone had time machines, then this question would be meaningless since your meddling with the past would already be meddled with from other people's time traveling, and the future would therefore become unpredictable again, and there would be no point in going back.

 

Honestly if i could never use the time machine a second time i wouldn't want to go back in time, if anything i'd go forward in time and if there is no longer life then i guess it was worth it anyway.

 

I'd forward time for sure to see how my life is.

 

Depending on how many uses I could get out of it I'd like to go back, win the lottery and live my life. When I got older, I'd probably go back and do it all again.

 

He said you can only use it once :/. If it's a one time thing i already know what the past holds, i would rather know what the future holds if i can never go back, even if there ended up being nothing left.

I'd go to a bank, loan 200k €, invest all on bitcoins and sell when they hit the 1100$ mark.
