doesn't look horrible. perhaps adjust the angle a tiny bit so it is more straight up

 

It disgusts me seeing how people use number-ratings.
Where did you base the numbers off.
Bad lighting so 4/5 instead of 5/5?
Why not tell the artist that the lightning is bad, instead of a useless "x/5"-reply.
Would that not be alot more useful for the artist?

This post isn't directed at anyone personally.
I just want to tell everyone who has been using number-ratings; Explain why you chose to rate it like that.

 

Simple but looks good

 

Great use of the C4D. Work on the lighting as it would make this piece pop.

 

I like the idea, however my suggestion would be to crop the background cd4 so that it doesn't just suddenly end on the edges. Would look a lot better. Other than that looks good.

4/5 the only thing i have a problem with is the color difference isnt much. more contrast to make the lettering pop would be badass. but its pretty awesome tbh bro

 

Heya, Figured I'd give some real tips on your work

First of all, Did you even use photoshop on this?

If so. You could put the contrast up quite a lot. This would improve the looks.

Add a layer mask on top of the background layer ( Or the only layer you got if it's all rendered in C4d.)
Then go over the bottom with a black brush so the left over spikes with the hard edges will be removed.

Angle it so that it's not like you look on it from the top.

Maybe add a nice texture over it. ( Add the texture layer on photoshop and put it on overlay. )

Other then that, Keep playing around with the programs you'll improve in time.
