Selling gold?

Hey guys,

Got a question.

I'm skeptic about using paypal to receive money from selling GP, mainly because of the chargebacks.

So what other options are available? Like MB? Can you chargeback on there? Netellers?

Suggestions and info needed.

Money Bookers, Western Union, and Skrill are other choices. If you're looking at the possibility of getting into resale of Runescape GP be aware there's always room for scams and chargebacks. If you're just trying to sell some of your GP I would suggest selling to a trusted user with credible vouches who can provide a safe service.

 

Any payment method is reversible, no matter what you read. The key is to find people you trust to not attempt to do so. There are plenty of credibile people here on Sythe that I would look into.

Not true, Western Union and Moneypak are not reversible.

 

I'd suggest using Western Union or Playerauctions. Playerauctions protects your payment, Western union makes it unchargeback able until it's picked up IRL/sent to bank. You could also sell to very trusted gold buyers&sellers, you'll get a little less cash for it but you'll surely be safe.

 

skrill and moneybookers are the same thing?

 

Skrill is used by quite a few people atm. Paypal is fine, provided you trade with people who are trusted and use common sense, like requesting Pms.

 

Chargebacks are unlikely in Skrill. Western Union and MoneyPak are 100% safe, but you'd want to sell using a trusted middleman because people won't want to go first to you in trades.

You could also just take the route many people choose and sell through PayPal to a well-vouched member for a bit lower of a price. I'm just concerned about the chargebacks. I do not mind selling for a bit lower. But waiting for the trusted persons can be a bit annoying because of the many sellers out there. So yeah going with the not so untrusted people can be stressfull. I will pm you if i need any more info LoLSmurfin.
