Hey guys,

Some user messaged me about wanting to trade LOL Skins on PlayerAuctions. I was under the impression that users couldn't trade skins. Am I wrong?

 

Trading for what in return?

 

Trading for real money

 

some skins come on certain gift cards like for riot skins... or maybe he will be gifting them

I don't think riot condones trading of skin codes. They aren't going to refund you if you get scammed or something but you're not gonna get banned or anything along those lines.

 

riot is very strange about this. They said they never wanted skins to sell for so much cash (Pax tf, CH riven, etc), so they said they would make new skin codes have a expiration date (riot blitz/arcade heca and CH thresh) but these codes never expired so i don't know what they're thinking...
but yeah there's 0% risk in buying skins. Unless it is from gifting options (we all know where these come from)

I think he's referring to the gifting of skins on both sides of equal RP.

 

So basically it's the same as any RMT? Not condoned but not really prohibited (technically speaking) either?

But I'm pretty sure Riot already knows all this Black Market selling of these skins, they don't care.

If they were to ban every single player that has bought a skin code from one of these forums, they would lose a large player base IMO

 

Its not prohibited in anyway i dont think, else everyone who for example owns championship riven but never played in s2 would be investigated etc..

 

It's not prohibited, unless if gifting skins, the RP is obtained in a bad manner (chargebacked RP, or just caught referral RP in general.)

 

You can sell several skin codes, PAX, Riot, muay thai lee sin ext...
