[scam report] murdshop

hey,
so me and murdshop made a deal to sell him 590m rs3 for 200$ paypal i gave him the gold but i got scammed. he is self request ban currently :/
i have all proofs so let me know.

Murd that's ridiculous you're telling me I didn't get scammed because you had no logs to prove it? just because the logs arent there of us talking doesnt mean i never talked with u. im guaranteed it wasnt an imposter and since u got hacked and there were no logs isnt a valid reason.

 

You need a Sythe PM

 

roary i understand its safe to request a PM but this time i didnt, this person had TONS of vouches and the skype was his because it was on his profile. hes responsible for his skype

The simple fact that one is liable for their Skype the moment it's created and used is enough. He put that Skype in my profile and he's liable for the damages done if it was allegedly hacked.
Most people don't request a PM because its predominantly used to make sure you are not talking to an imposter; In this case, I wasn't. There have been a prodigious amount of cases where individuals have had to refund users due to hacked Skypes.
I'm feeling extremely resentful as it's irrational that MurdShop can get away with not paying 590M in damages even though he was allegedly hacked. I shouldn't have to take the loss because his Skype was hacked.
I understand that there have been a surplus in hacked Skypes, but that thread was bumped AFTER I got scammed.

To make a long explanation short, it's irrational to have me take the loss because Murd's skype was allegedly hacked. He is responsible for his means of communication (Skype).

 

In the Official Sythe User Rules

No where is it stated that you must receive a PM before doing any trades with any user.

It was brought in to place that Skype scams needed a PM: http://www.sythe.org/archives/15501...skype-scam-reports-must-contain-sythe-pm.html and I've no idea why this was archived and not reiterated in the main sticky.

Skype hackings aren't "your responsibility" the same as other accouts as there are major flaws with Microsoft and there isn't much most people can do to stop their Skypes being SE'd at some point.

I'm not being bias, I couldn't care less who this report was made by or made against.

 

I understand where you're coming from Roary. Though, since his Skype got hacked and I had to face a loss, hes liable for it. In the past, this was the verdict as well (the skype owner having to refund), this case isn't much different.
As of this post date, there are no official rules saying a PM MUST be required. I solely didn't request one because I knew I wasn't talking with an imposter. I'm ignorant for not taking complete precautions but my ignorance shouldn't be a legible excuse for not compensating me for the damages done.

Obviously I understand, but he was SRB'd when you traded him - not much more could be done on his part.

This is the third time you've been scammed, you really don't have any room for being negligent, you should know better.

 

Roary, I'll admit I was ignorant for not requesting a PM and viewing his account position prior to the trade. But that isn't a reason for not providing compensation.

I just recognized his Skype previously so I knew it wasn't an imposter.
I'm not here to cause trouble, I don't even want any drama. I have exams currently and i'm under huge amounts of pressure; on top of that I lost a huge chunk of my cash which upsets me more.

Frenzy thinks i'm trying to profit here which makes me completely resentful. I'm not trying to profit I just want things to go back to normal.

2. You think I enjoy this? It's not fun for anyone
3. Speculation; but you're the one that was negligent

• Not his fault his Skype was hacked
• He SRB'd
• You didnt request a PM or check his Sythe before trading
