Are you going longterm or shortterm?

    Hey guys!

Hope I'm doing this right, please vote on the poll :)

    The question is:
Are you going longterm with your coins? Holding them for months, years maybe?
Or are you going shortterm and do you keep selling/buying coins when you made a profit?

Would be interesting to see the results :)

    Cheers!

Lonnnnggggg. I picked up a few 100 LTC before they really shot up in price, figure Ill hold em for a while. Also have a few grand in some of the other Altcoins (FTC/PPC/NMC). I check up on the news and prices daily, and I dump in more money after some of the crashes, but besides that I just sit tight and watch it grow.

    Longterm myself.
Didn't invest much, so if the LTC I bought crash hard, it wouldn't matter at all.

Long term in BTC atm, planning to hold for a year or so. Might do some short term investing in some alts.

Although majority of my holdings in crypto are longterm, there have been certain times in recent months that I've shorted a quite a few of them, only to buy them back for a lower price to recoup my BTC/LTC balance.

    Bit of both for me.

HOWEVER, words to the wise, do not try to short-term trade (day trade) Bitcoin! This has been my #1 profit killer. If you don't know what you're doing (and I mean years of experience on volatile markets), don't bother! Just buy and hold, or if you are truly bearish on Bitcoin, wait for a big crash to come to buy in (or don't buy at all).

They definitely have a lot of potential, it's dependant if you're willing to buy into the risk!

I'm thinking about going long term. I'm mining Litecoins and now more recently using a multi-coin pool that auto trades into Bitcoins. I'm not all that serious with it and if I make back the $170ish I spent on an AMD card I'd be more than happy. More of a hobby at this point.

Little bit of both. But it's getting to the point where LONG >>>> SHORT. If you're not holding crypto waiting for the 500-1000% pumps and selling into those, then you're not doing it right.
