Will resetting my IP address help?

So I would like to start botting on 3-4 mule accounts while I also have my main that contains about a decade of my childhood on it. From what I understand, if I am IP banned, this would ban my main. If I were to simply change my IP would this put me in the absolute clear from losing my main? I couldn't care less about the other accounts. If it would not put me in the clear, is there anything I can do to assure my main will not be banned asides from purchasing a vps? I'm not against eventually purchasing a vps but Im just currently reading up on how exactly they works since Im fairly new.

 

I believe botting using proxies would protect your main just fine.

 

If there is any connection between the mules and your main, they could go after it. i.e. created on the same IP, members purchased on the same credit card, anything.

So proxies is the easiest way to mask your IP and do all your botting stuff, whilst maintaining your current IP with your main. They would not be able to tie the two together, realistically at least.

 

I doubt they would go this in depth, jagex aren't a bunch of detectives over one account... to shut down a major botting operation maybe.

Also no one bots on credit card memberships, and if you do you should definitely switch to bonds + bot on proxies to be safe.

I personally had all of a specific type of bot ip wiped. I had a few fishing bots and then some other bots on top of that and when they wiped me they only killed my fishing bots. I don't think it's that they don't immediately see your main on the same ip i just think it's that they're giving you the benefit of the doubt.
