Account banned but wasnt me who was botting - possible unban chances?

Paying someone to bot mining for me, he's from the US and me the UK. I sent an email to accounthelp to make it look like the account had been hacked, then sent an appeal stating it evidently wasn't me on the account and i'd been hacked via fake link.

will I possibly win this? the account is pretty damn good.

 

If you're telling the truth and actually haven't botted the account on your IP address, then you have a fairly good chance. Jagex aren't stupid though and will check IPs.

Let us know how everything goes, chances are it will be unbanned if you are telling the truth and Jagex looks into it.

 

100% wasn't my IP, so i'm hoping they see that and unban me. how long do appeals take?

 

i always thought there rule was , your responsible for what happens to the account , since it was your mistake kinda thing. jagex are a bunch of idiots anyway always worth a shot man. h ope it work. ive seen cases fo example my friend's friend botted his account and it gt banned , no suprise. sent in appeal saying it got hacked , they unbanned it , quashed the appeal and locked it since it was "stolen". unlocked it , has account to this day.

 

A similar thing happened to me not too long ago, where a friend of mine botted on my account. I ended up having to wait the full amount of ban time. However, good luck with the appeal.

You probably won't get a response, it really doesn't matter tbh.

 

depends how soon after you got banned you sent in the appeal.

 

I don't think you have the greatest odds, since as a previous user said, you might be responsible for your own account. But if it really wasn't your ip, there is a decent chance of getting it unbanned

Try as hardest as you can, but don't hold your breath for jagex.

I thought it was all automated now anyways.

 

Theres a huge amount of people sending appeals and emails, so don't get hopeful.

 

this definetly worked for my friend. I was botting with kiko's Idung and he was in Uk while I was in US. The account got rolledback on the experiecne that was botted only and also got full void for free

 

I had this happen to me once and I just told them I was not the player and they checked IP's and I got my account back

Well it is possible that you will get unbanned, very slightly though. I'm unsure if jagex actually looks into those reports.

they're not replying, appeal has been pending for a week and i've sent 2 emails.
