PayPal Help

Hello.

I made my PayPal into a Business PayPal a few months ago, I havn't used it much but I have made a few transactions recently (mostly receiving $ for selling rsgp).

It became limited on 2nd January or so, where I cannot send any money, remove my card to make a new account or anything without removing the limitation. The limitation can be removed if I provide the following information in the picture: http://gyazo.com/12df7e8a7248c44a4edf6c92feb0d29c

I can provide the ID and address information with no problems, but I am wondering what to put in the "provide business information" part, the "provide proof of delivery" part and the "provide invoices" part.

Note that I have only used that paypal to receive gp from various people from selling them RSGP.

Any help would be appreciated, if this has happened to you in the past, or you have any knowledge on the matter.

Edit: Most likely going to call them up tomorrow, and change to personal account to make removing limitation easier.

Just change to a personal or merchant account if you don't own a business.

 

Just contact them and see because im not sure if you can change from business to personal while limited. Most likely you should just call them or provide the information. Why did you create a business account.

 

Most likely the reason they are requesting his personal information is because he has stated he owns a business but provides paypal with no business information. They're not going to allow you to own a business account without actually owning some type of business in which they can keep track of.

 

Well originally it was a mistake, but I could not switch back to personal so I just stuck with business paypal.

To change from business to personal you need to email them. I emailed them and they said I will get a response within 48-72 hours, so hopefully if it changes from business to personal then it would be easier to remove limitation, I guess.

 

Hopefully man gl they should change it no problem.

 

Try calling them. It's easier interacting with them on the phone so they can help you out step by step.

 

Yea waiting for a response; an awkward position if they can't change it due to my account being a business account, but I can't remove the limitation as I have no invoices etc, as it wasn't meant to be one anyway.

 

Why did you originally want a buisness account? Is there any benifit from it without actually owning a buisness?

 

same thing happened to us before we were a registered business, just call them up and tell them the truth. They were fine with us, we just provided proof of ID and address then told them we sell gold and aren't a registered business, they removed the limitation after a few days.

 

I got a personal account originally, but I clicked upgrade as friend said it would be better if I had a business account, but I couldn't switch back .

 

Hey I have some updates for anyone with similar problems.

Basically, I called up PayPal, FIRST of all I was transferred to the their "Downgrade" people, and they said just put a word document on the places explaining that you don't have a business etc.

I called again 5 minutes later, this time it was about some ID, and I got put through to the limitation department. I told them my issue and they solved it, and also I explained I don't have invoices/business information etc. so I cannot provide anything, and they said "that's fine we will remove them for you" and they removed those parts, so all I had to send in was ID, payments info and address details.

Edit: Anyone have any idea what to put for payments info, for receiving payment for selling RSGP? :S

 

Glad that part worked out for you, although I have no idea what to put for payments information if you're receiving payments for selling RSGP. I'd suggest calling them again, I bet they could help you out.

 

I just put it was a gift from family =/ lol.
