Wanted a pats jersey for a while now, wasn't sure who to get. Tom Brady is too mainstream. Was thinking Gronk but he's hurt too much. I've been a believer in Edelman for a while now, I was screaming at the time for the pats to resign him in the off-season and they did and it paid off. I no longer have any doubt and plan to purchase an Edelman jersey soon.

Ironically he's a lot better than Amendola who was hailed to be Welker's replacement, more versatile and for a fraction of the price.

I don't understand why Amendola was "hailed as Welker's replacement", he's way to frail to play in the slot hence the frequent injuries.

 

Blount > Demps... but damn is that kid fast. One of my favorite madden runningbacks.

 

To be fair though, at the time Edelman was in a walking boot and up in the air. Last season he started to look good, in fact they had started giving him a few reps over Welker but he got injured. There wasn't quite enough evidence to make a legitimate case for Edelman asides from well wishes.

Amendola had some legitimate production when he wasn't injured. People blew it out of proportion though, envisioning that he would be so much better due to the better QB and the like. I thought it was very distasteful when several supposed "analysts" claimed he would surpass Welker. Welker was solid for the Patriots for many years. He has now had concussions and the like, but such is life when you have Peyton Manning throwing to you. Cough cough... Austin Collie, Brandon Stokely, Wes Welker...

Haven't seen a single one in NZ actually. Yes I am in New Zealand. Ironically I have seen 1 Edelman jersey though. Still want an Edelman one.
