So, I have the dudes Drivers license, PP email and the last 4 digits of his credit card and he still decides to charge back.

Honestly, this is the reason that Runescape is continuing on its downward path. Everyone that plays is looking to scam someone, to make what? And extra $130? That's pathetic...

Even if I'm not the one who puts you in your place, someone down the road eventually will get you back for me.

Anyways, with all of his info in my possession, what is the best route to resolving this?

Tell them the truth, the payment was for virtual goods. They do not refund virtual good purchases because of them being so hard to track if it was ever delivered. Show them what you have, then he shouldnt be able to win an unauthorized transaction.

I contacted the buyer and he said he called PP and they told him, "they made a business decision to 'part ways'". They are supposedly closing his account. Will I have even the slightest chance of getting my money if they 'close' his account?

First step would be to report the user who chargedback.
Second would be to submit all the info you have to paypal.

If that's the case, and you're still in contact with the buyer, request a refund for whatever he purchased. If he says no, then he's obviously scamming and probably lying about the above.

A moderator banned him for another reason after I sold the gold to him.

This is not a reason not to report them.
If they would ever try to pardon your scamming wouldn't be included if you didn't report it.

    Report it
