is it me or is Kayle a bit Op

Ok I might be wrong but let me ask you this how do you handle a kayle mid with a decent team.And kayle has:Sorcerer boots-nashors tooth-rabadons-lich bane-void staff-runaans hurricane .
Damage output is way too high even with randuins and frozen heart slowing your attack speed.

 

Runaan's should make that Kayle literally have an entire item wasted...

But the rest of the build was good. Kayle is extremely strong because of the way the offensive masteries help hybrid autoattackers (Teemo and Kayle). Her autoattack buff spell (E) procs both of the masteries that increase damage if you cast/auto, so she's basically always got a 6% damage boost from two masteries alone. Also, her Q scales 1:1 so her early game trading potential is quite strong. She walks up and presses Q on you, and you already lose 150+ HP in one spell...


Even with her Q, Kayle's early game is mediocre at best, and if you time an engage when her Q is on cooldown, she is usually pretty susceptible to an all-in aggressive attack (e.g., gank or something like an Ahri charm+ult or Kassadin ult on her face). Playing assassins with a dash against her can shut her down pretty quickly. She's kind of the Jax of the mid lane... if you let her CS or get kills, her snowball is unstoppable. Gragas is an exception to the "assassin" general counter trend. Gragas has a really strong poke AND his all-in potential is really good because of Body Slam. In general, find a mid laner who is comfortable being up close and personal, and Kayle will have a much harder time.

 

I like runaans because its make the teamfight lot easy i mean even if i hit their tank their adc dies as well i mean thats my opinion but if i need more damage i would get deathfire instead of runaans.Ive been playing him for some time now in diamond and even if i get countered i simply farm and roam .And i find gragas matchups very easy i dodge his barrels well. But i think fear might do the trick

 

Kayle is super strong. I personally play her top over mid, but either work. She's one of my go to champs when boosting.

 

She's a pub stomper.

 

Was playing as Twitch once. A Kayle Q did 2/3 of my 1500 hp...

 

Kayle is dumb strong early game verse a lot of champions and just becomes ridiculous post 6 with 1 or 2 decent items.

Depending on who I'm playing, I just give up my lane half the time and start roaming/taking jungle to get ahead if my jungler isn't competent enough to gank properly.

 

Her Q does scale with her AP 1:1. I'e played Kayle quite a bit top lane. She's good against most top lanes. She's able to put out a bit of damage early but usually she won't have much damage until sometime near mid game. Her late game is very strong though if you play it well leading up.

 

Not OP, just underrated.

 

Kayle is no way underrated.

 

Kayle has the highest win rate among Diamond players, around 57% if I am correct. Her kit and overall utility matches those numbers. Fairly high skill champ, high reward.

 

Kayle is very good, she's a hard champion to utilize her kit.

High skill cap = high reward

Her early game is unrivaled, and her mid-game doesn't diminish at all. Her late game is phenomenal, so I would say she's a bit too strong but can easily be shut down.

 

Wouldn't say Kayle is a high-skill cap champion. With her it's more about decision making. I'm not saying it's easy to play Kayle however.

 

I'd say she's high skill-cap - no other champion is like her. Choosing who to ult, when to ult, her e timing are all extremely difficult to use properly.

 

With the proper build her E is never on CD when used. (From when I've played her in season 3). Knowing when/who to ult isn't easy but it still doesn't make her much of a high skill-cap champion.

 

She has no escapes and a really weak gap closer = high skill cap.

Short range = high skill cap.

High mana cost = high skill cap.

Ultimate that can be literally 100% worthless if you time it wrong = high skill cap.

An incredibly high-priority target = high skillcap.

Melee with a really low base movespeed = high skillcap.



Kayle's definitely not the easiest mid to play. In my opinion, among non-assassins, she's probably the hardest to play. Sure, assassins are even a little more all-or-nothing with their combos, but they are assassins for a reason. After teams group, assassins lose their utility, whereas AOE DPS champs like Kayle shine brightly. (If you want easy, play someone like Ziggs and just sit back and farm the wave, then ult bottom lane whenever it is available.)



Also I think 40% CDR makes ehr have like 1 second of not-E between casting.

 

Her kit is inherently powerful because it is so versatile.

She is a very strong pick mid.

 

I think I'm going to need to try out kayle, i've seen a few people dominate and change a game with her.

 

Kayle is really good late she can burst almost ANYONE down
