Chaotics vs Drygores/royal

Hey guys!

Drygore maces vs Chaotic Maul
Recently I bought dual drygore maces, they were cheap enough for me to get them, and I've been liking them very much.
The thing is I don't have any strong slashing weapons at the time, so I'm thinking about switching my maul for tokens and saving up for some more useful stuff.

Should I do that? or keep my maul?

Chaotic crossbow vs Royal crossbow

Pretty much the same problem here, got a royal crossbow, so I don't really use my chaotic one. (just mainhand)
Should I destroy it for tokens? or keep it?

 

As far as weapons go, I'd keep them both. The Drygores are fantastic Slayer/PvM weapons, however, they cost more to recharge than Chaotics. In my honest opinion, I'd keep the maul. 2h weapons are always useful to have around even if they don't get used much. Plus they're actually better than Drygores when it comes to PvP (if you're into that). Honestly 200-300k tokens aren't hard to get. If you get a good team you could do it in half a day.

Honestly, this one only comes down to preference. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Royal is pretty devastatingly powerful but is 2h. Can't be used with a shield or off-hand variant which also decreases rate of fire. The CCB Can be used with those things but isn't as powerful. My opinion is to keep them both, like the first one. I live by the term "better to have it and not need than to need it and not have it.", that makes a lot of decisions for me.


The way I see it is you need to figure out what you truly need. We can help with opinions but we can't make decisions for you. Hope that helps you mate.

 

Leaning towards keeping them, not too sure yet as I don't really train dungeoneering at this time.

can destroy the crossbow as it has no use for you now, and i would save up the tokens
