When is the actual 2014 season starting ?

Just a few questions about it.

1. Does the ranks start all over ?
2. Do you have to do placements over again ?
3. Does it affect your LP gain?
4. Do you start over on win/losses?

 

1.2. 10 placements based on your end rank
3. Yes, it would be like you only played those 10 games
4.Yep

 

It's supposed to start late January or early February.

 

1: It's a soft reset. Your hidden MMR, which you can't look up, will place you in 10 placement games of where you should be and tested for placement.

2: Yes, this is GOOD because it'll provide you a good chance to get out of that division you dread playing in. If your account was boosted and you don't deserve that division, good luck and your just making other's placement matches hard.

3: Placement match is 3x? more valuable then regular rank match. Again, it's a soft reset so whatever division your place into, you start from there.

4: Yes, you start over with win/lost. It's a new season.

Thank God I actually think im good enough to be in at least bronze III so hopefully I can play some good game and have a good season start.

Do you have to do placements over again ? Correct, with your MMR taken into account from your previous season.
Does it affect your LP gain? Well, you're doing placements so the only thing that it affects is that.
Do you start over on win/losses? Yes.

 

It already started last night!

 

Not sure if anyone will see this, but how exactly does the placement system work? Such as, my first placement I had a 4v5 we ended up losing around 28 minutes. I had the most gold in the game though, and did well, as did the rest of my team other then my support. *sigh* Would that be the same as just getting demolished?

 

I was wondering that too first game 2 trolls fed almost 40 kills. Seconds game 1 afk and 1 troll 3rd game i went 9-3 and have not played anymore yet.
