Jinora doesn't find Rava and bring her back to life, it's a lot more complicated then what it looks like... Jinora has always had a connection to the spirits and we see this throughout the 2nd book she radiates positive energy and good which is basically what she did when she came down and revealed Rava inside of Vatu, she didn't bring Rava back to life. Hence the title of the episode light in the dark or what ever it was.

 

When's season 3 due?

 

The first two episodes will air at comic con in April and from what it looks like it will air in June on Nick.

I just gave my opinion on the subject, I honestly think they ruined legend of korra, the first season was all right but afterwards it all went downhill...what's the problem here?

 

LOK was a let down for me honestly, I went into every episode with the hope of seeing characters from the original series and not really caring about the characters in the current series..


That being said, it isn't BAD but if ATLA never existed, I don't think this show would have much popularity. Also +1 for some sythe users not being closed minded on anime type shows.

 

Season 3 is out! First 3 episodes of season 3 were released yesterday. Real good so far!

 

Did they ever mention how Aang died?

 

So far season 3 is garbage... Zuko randomly just pops doesn't even mention where the fuck he's been or what he's been up to. Korra is still trying to prove herself after saving the world... The only good thing about this season is the antagonist's and Kai

 

I think they mentioned somewhere that he was still alive and he was traveling the world or something.

 

How did that first guy (named started with Z, think it was zerah) able to master air bending after he just recently acquired it?

The first episode was rushed and not enough was explained. I hated how they introduced the new air benders, it was tacky with not enough back story behind it. Why did the conversions only target the air element? These questions should have been answered in the first episode.

I hope there is an explanation for these things. Anywho, this season is the best one so far.

I don't remember specifics about ATLA to bring up any points about it, but I do remember thoroughly enjoying it.

I enjoyed the first two seasons of LoK as well. Combat scenes as others have touched on were done really well. Specifics I remember liking are the inner stories ("cutscenes"?) featuring Wan, and the back story with Raava and Vaatu. If executed properly, I think stories within films/series running parallel with the main story can add a huge amount of depth and really get the viewer "into" it. It's more like how we live our lives, rather than one single thread if you will moving forward. Then at the right time, certain threads can merge with the main thread or other threads and it just works out really well. GoT does this really nicely as well and is probably a better example of what I'm trying to explain

 

Well the kid learned it pretty fast. The others didn't even want it (guy on the bridge), but he could still control his powers, the way he pushed the guys off the bridge. My guess is Zerah, who was the leader of the group, already knew how to fight, so I guess controlling it was the only issue, which others who gotit handled pretty well.

Let's go along with him being a master in martial arts, the way he is controlling the element he was just given is unrealistic. The way people perceived him makes me believe he was already an airbender who got his bending taken away by aang. That outcome would correlate with his reasoning for trying to kill the current avatar. Out of the three people that tenzen tried recruiting the kid was clearly the best, but he is still definitely an amateur. Remember that he was partially trained on the way to bss.

 

Considering the bending abilities of everyone else, Zaheer must have had unique attributes to have been a leader with no bending. He was probably powerful before, and I think the writing staff of the Legend of Korra are trying to convay the strength of Zaheer by showing his knack for airbending right off the bat.

 

There's only 13 episodes, I feel like this is rushed. 3 episodes with 1 week notice, and then 2 episodes a week. At this rate I doubt we'd get another avatar after Korra is done. Nick is ruining it, it will not perform as expected by them because of it.

 

I hate how Nick is handing Korra. The ratings and viewership is there, but they are running such an amazing show to the ground. If there is another Avatar after Korra, I hope someone else picks them up.
