Any sneakerheads?

Far from it haha. I have one pair of $65 shoes that I picked up, that's about it.

No offense but if you buy replica's, you're not a sneakerhead.
You're one of those kids thats getting them for the status, not because you like the shoes.
Sneakerheads will literally blow their paycheque's on shoes and not give a fugg.. I for one would never cop fakes. Not the same feel, not the same style, wear out quicker not to mention they're FAKE.

 

So the real question is: did you pay $2000 for authentic yeezy 2s?

First of all, I didn't even mention my fakes which only consists of 2 pairs (Lebron 10's in a limited white, baby blue, red & kobe system 8's. Got the lebron fakes because they didn't even make my fucking size for them, and bought the kobe's because they would look good in the collection and i would actually never wear them there way to loud. Not to mention I have dropped paychecks on shoes the fucking corks are $850 to $1k. Didn't even see you mention what shoes you got.

Lol, that's on the cheap end. I've seen them go up to $3500 pretty easy.


OT: anyone see the new Nike FlyKnit air max's, or the Lebron 11 Graffiti's?

Not exactly, I don't condone buying fake trainers or "Sneakers" as your guys call it. But some look exactly identical, if you treat the fakes like new born babies then there's a very slim chance that you will rip/tear them

 

Here's the thing about fakes. You NEED a good website. You can't just og online google search something and find a good one. All the ones that are good won't even show up on google search and keep it secret, The one I ordered from has been shut down twice and has had to switch domains because of the quality of the products. My friend ordered a pair of sunglasses and there made from the same materials and everything, got the case the lenses cleaning the extra lenses and the box for $14 and they retail for $320. They use the same plastic and everything all the way down to the same castings the factories use to make the parts before assembly. Put it this way, If you find a website that has the shoes for $20 there bad quality. Say i wanted to buy the Yeezy 2's right? Well there identical, they don't use alternative material only thing different is the laces have solid gold for aglets (end piece usually plastic) for real's where the fakes are just gold plated. Only time I know of where some one had a problem with the site is when one shoe had a small air bubble near the back of the shoe. He complained and they sent him a new pair with some free socks.

I use a pair of KD's i got for lacrosse (live in minnesota) and we run in the snow and slush. Had them for about a week and nothing has happened. I mean they have been soaked like 3 times. They can take a beating too.

EDIT: I'm not trying to justify buying fakes. I'm just saying coping some of the shoes can get hella expensive and i don't got fat sacks all the time. Plus some shoes are limited supply and made only in certain sizes and im an odd size so I can't always get em.

 

I think the love of sneakers are more of a guy thing rather than a girl thing.

 

the gamma 11s are ugly af just to plain for me idk why everyone went so hard over them, but then again everyone does that when any pair of 11s are released , but i am a sneaker head and have had serval pairs of jays/sb's over the years. i dont really fuck with lebrons or kds though(except the big bangs). ill post some pics later when i have a chance to take some

 

So it is about the brand. My pride is too big to wear fake designer brands knowing to myself that they are fake. I can see why people spend a lot of money on the real thing; the quality.

Not really. So KD's are a version of nike zoom's. But the KD's grip are better indoors and equally good on surfaces like ice (we run on this shit a lot). Now for me to go spend lets say $120 on a pair of KD's (granted there not special editions) is stupid especially since there used for running on snowy/slushy/icy surfaces. The shoes (3 now) I buy from Chinese wholesale are mainly intended for special purposes and not even in my collection, they sit in the garage. I wouldn't want to where my lebron corks to mow my lawn in ($850 is what there worth), instead I got a pair of Kobe system 8's (still say there in my collection but there really not). Only pair of fakes in my +30 shoes are my lebron 10 limiteds. Simply because they didn't even make my shoe size in that run.

 

I don't really get the obsession with the Gammas and what not. I have mostly loafers and dress shoes because I'm required to wear them, but I also have some free runs if those count as sneakers
