Which would be a better boxer?

I can't decide what stats to get for my boxing account. After lots of stakes I cannot tell if having higher strength or defense is better...

Currently I have:
70 Att
65 Str
60 Def
67 HP

Should I get option 1 or 2?

Option 1:
70 Att
65 Str
70 Def

Option 2:
70 Att
70 Str
60 Def

Both options are just temporary goals, if I went with option 1 I would keep training my attack/defence and focus less on strength while if I went with option 2 I would focus more on my attack and strength and less on defence.

Back in the ACTUAL 2007 server days people understood this, now everyone is stuck on the strength pure bandwagon and also thinks they will do good in the duel arena. Sure they will, ddsing or whipping maybe. But when it comes to boxing strength is the weak link. Its all about attack and defense.

Id go with the first option, but youre going to want higher attack and defense, because luck does play a big part in staking. So you want to get as much of an advantage with stats as possible.

Personally, within your range I would go 76 attack, 68 str, 79 def.

You could play around with the attack and def a little bit, but at least go 76+ / 68 / 76+.

Right now im 81 attack, 73 strength and 82 defense.

I absolutely murdered a zerker pure who was about 75 95 45 I think he was, in a tournament style boxing thing last night.. I won like 6/8 i think and cleaned him.

 

Yeah i played back in the real 07 days and remember that all the really good boxers had high attack and def and they didnt bother as much with strength. Thanks I'll take your advice on this one.

 

I havent really staked since RS Classic. And it seemed like the dominant build was something along the lines of 60-70 att, 60-70 def, and 30-40 str.

Has anybody had any experience with, or against that type of build?

 

1st option brother. Def matters more than you think, especially in boxing.

1st option, much better for the boxing type of staker you're looking to do.

 

Doubt you need any more help with this decision, but I'll still throw support for option one, plus to further atk and def on par (leaving str where it is). I'd honestly stop at 79-65-79, as 79, although only one level lower than 80, does indeed give off a more 'nooby' impression.

 

That's actually a very good point, i'll keep this in mind as I'm training defence as we speak i'm about to get level 65

 

definitely the first, in fact maybe even a little less strength, maybe like 60str- 75 def

 

The best boxer account I've ever owned had 80 att 99 str 70 def 1 pray. Those low pray lvls are essential to owning noobs for there gp's.

First one. As said many times above, DEF>STR in BOXING

I think your overall goal stats should be 90/77/95.

Why 77? You get an addition +1 on your max there from 73 I believe and it's only another 1 combat level from strength.


I remember using a 80/67/85 back in like 06-08 (sometime in there) made many mills. Sadly before I knew of RWT
