I'm looking forward to buy my first car as I'm quite traumatized riding a motorcycle. Can you give me a recommendation?

 

Turning 16 soon and getting my bros 2004 honda s2000

I drove an 05 Dodge Ram for my first truck. Nor sure where you're from, but if it's anywhere besides USA/Canada, don't buy one. She got 13 mpg on a good day, and parking could be a pain in the ass when it came to tight spots

i haven't owned a car, only pick up trucks. i consider the word car to be synonymous with any daily driven vehicle, so......

Inherited my grandpa's 1929 Model A whenever I was 9. Been sitting in our shop for the past 11 years. Hope to restore it someday.

 

I learned how to drive on a 95 Saturn SC2 5 speed. But my first car I bought was a 01 VW Passat 1.8T 5 speed. Love her <3

 

'07 Chevy Cobalt

Cheaper car, great on gas, drives great, and just a great small first car. I love it to death, but we're about to get rid of it because it's only 2 door and I have a 14 month old and 32 weeks pregnant with our second child, and it's not car seat friendly at all. :|

 

Ive owned 3 cars so far in my short lifetime of driving!
My very first car I bought when I was 16 and it was a 2001 Toyota Avalon, not a bad car, although it took a while to get the smell out haha. Smelled like mildew =\.

My second car was a 2005 Srt4, I loved that thing...great on gas, quick enough to put a smile on my face when the turbo spooled. Sounded cool, looked pretty cool ( to me anyway ). Although I made it relatively fast, it was still a front wheel drive car...its considered to be in the same category as the sti's/evo's but definitely not in the same league!

My third and current car is a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara...I love this thing too! I get to take it on the beach, go wheeling, have fun in the snow. But the thing is a gas guzzling whore!

For a first car I would definitely tell you not to get anything crazy, something with 4 wheels that runs reliably. Don't waste all your money buying something you really cant afford. It'll just make it that much worse if you crash it (new driver). When I was in High School I can remember 3 people specifically who had an evo, gto, and an srt4...throughout the year they all crashed them!

Parents got me a 06 Honda Civic for my 16th. It's been 3 years since, and I'm still driving it.

 

'00 Subaru Liberty - great car. 2.5L engine, AWD, yet is fuel efficient enough too. Handles amazingly.

 

a '99 Chrysler Cirrus.

Man, it was nice inside but got a shit deal.

Paid 3,000$ and it had so many problems.

I suggest a toyota or a honda, their not to expensive and belive me their worth it. Their quality cars and will last you awhile.

Is mazda good?

Mazda 2 to be specific.

 

Pretty much any japanese car is good.
I would say Mazda isn't one of the best japanese cars though.

I'd recommend Toyota above all.
