How to gain trust?

I would like to start a swapping business, but It's clearly you need vouches, how did everyone else start out? and what would be the best way for me to start gaining vouches?

 

Start trading use a mm if you have to , get vouches and eventually you'll become "trusted"

Comes with time. Keep trading, and over-time as you amount quality vouches people will see you can be trusted.

 

Same as you would in real life you do on these forums. Start with something small and keep with it. After more trades, trust will come.

 

Trust isn't necessarily based in vouches. Donate to Sythe to help increase your account worth. If you donate $300 people know you won't scam/risk getting banned for $5. Consider it an investment and recognize that's how everyone starts out. Increase your post count as well.

 

As Nick said, that'd be a great investment. But apart from that, try going first with already trusted members or use a mm, so that you can get vouches.

Next would be to gain post count, activity, and vouches. It's a lengthy process, it'll take a year of fully trading to become "trusted" to an extent.

 

Like they say above, don't really think donor or posts really should make someone seem more trustworthy, but with vouches is the best.

Thing is, each person is going to judge how they trust you, I have trouble trusting people who have 60+ vouches. Just because they haven't scammed others doesn't mean they wont' scam you. I have been scammed by a guru with donor, and good amount of vouches back in the day.

However, until you get someone to go first for you, people aren't gonna really see the trust in you. Even though I have three vouches, all it means is that I have traded and it has gone smoothly, but despite that I went first each time, so people aren't going to automatically be oh hey! I can trust him.
