    Greatest mind of all time?

Who would you say is the greatest mind of all time.

We would go on the facts of how he lived his lifestyle, what he achieved, how it still impacts society today, the legacy he left behind, and the man or women(LOL) he/she was.

For me Nikola Tesla hands down his AC (Alternating Current) still is used to this day to power literally everywhere, he lived a solitary lifestyle and in his own way made the world what is today. There are numerous other things he did but I'm not here to write not a biography so let me know who you think it is.

Talking about intelligent people doesn't really qualify as intelligent discussion, but whatever.

Adolf Hitler; yes that's a serious response, and yes I'd love to debate the details should you feel particularly strongly against my reply. Maybe it'll save this thread from getting locked here soon

I agree with Mohtasa, Adolf Hitler hands down. There are many great minds out there but in my opinion it was him. I feel everyone's opinion on this will be different due to morality reasons, interests, etc.

Hitler? I understand he led his people out of of a depression but he did that through propaganda and lies... ( I don't want to disrespect any Jewish members of this forum). He was a mass murderer and a semi horrible leader yes he evidently conquered Europe but at what cost to betray Stalin and side with Japan so he can fight are war on two front and go crazy with power? The only thing I would even say he was great at is motivating, inspiring, and capturing his audiences attention through public speaking his idea was good for a couple years but he couldn't build on it only go down hill if he was great the world would be a lot different right now, Although in his own way he did change the world by being the cause of millions of deaths I guess, though stalin still beats him at being a more sinister dictator in my opinion

Huh? He was a good leader, but his emotions got the best of him making mentally unstable. I think people give him too much credit for swaying a bunch of people to his corrupt philosophy. A lot of our current leaders do that today.

    Greatest mind of all time?

He wasn't a good leader, he was possibly one of the greatest leaders in history.
    1) He whipped up a force large enough to rival the ENTIRETY of Europe and Russia. Without the intercession of the US, Hitler had an easy win.
    2) Pioneered the research that eventually lead to the completion of the Human Genome Project.
    3) Swayed the minds of millions to follow his lead, to believe in his vision, and to support his cause whole heartedly and without a second thought.

And he did this in 6 years. He literally pulled his country out of a fatal depression, conquered more than 40 countries and occupied millions of square miles of territory, and commissioned some of the greatest scientific and medical advances in human history... Simultaneously.

Not to mention his commissioned advances in technology. The enigma machine. Computer tech. Assault Rifles. Missiles. He would have had nuclear power if the US hadn't gotten there first BY A HAIR. Methadone. Serin. U-Boats which were refined into submarines. The list goes on.
