If you can cheat, I don't mind and well I respect those who are sneaky enough. I couldn't cheat for shit. Tried in Spanish by reading a draft I did before the test, ended up bringing in a Clusterfuck of google translate goodness which got me no marks. One part in my test apparently said "I like bread on the roof as dogs walk over lights"...... so true.

Nah man, cheating in itself is already quite stupid. You risk the chance of getting caught, + you don't learn anything too

Is it okay to cheat on an Exam/Test?

Not true, in the slightest, in relevance to everything you learn throughout school/uni being applicable to the work force.

However, I've personally never cheated and would like to think never will, and or will never have to.

People will say all that blah blah shit about how the only "victim" of cheating is the cheater, but I say with the way the school system is now (atleast in USA) it's fine to cheat given the importance that's placed on grades.

I would only cheat if I knew I wasn't going to get caught, and in that case, it's really only a moral issue and I really don't have any moral issues :)

Is it okay to cheat on an Exam/Test?

Im generally okay with cheating. For me it all depends on the situation or what you happen to be cheating on. If you're in medical school and you're cheating I hope you get caught and kicked so you don't get someone killed. If you have to cheat to pass that you shouldn't be any form of doctor. Now if you're in school attaining some bullshit bs degree, or an associates in God knows what...that's fine. Personally I'm torn on the whole college thing. I have a decent amount of friends who spent 4 years in school and got their bachelors. Most of them are sucking right now working a job they didn't need a degree for and soon to be in dept paying off college loans. I can honestly say college has only worked out for 2 people so far. One is my girlfriend who's an accountant, and the other is a buddy who's making moves in management.

I suppose I'm more of a vocational school kind of person. It just makes sense...to me anyway, but hey everyone is different!

If you're spending money you don't have on schooling that you volunteered for you should try and study enough so that you don't have to cheat though haha.

Is it okay to cheat on an Exam/Test?

That's part of it too. I personally know 9/10 of the pupils in my class have cheated on a test or an exam. If you say you have never cheated, then you're more than likely lying. Some people hate to admit it and some could careless. I think it's okay to cheat when you actually tried to learn the information and you just couldn't get it. I think it's not okay to cheat when you say f**k that, i'll just cheat. I have probably done both situations to tell the truth. The thing is if you don't actually learn the information, especially in college, what's the point in going? Once you're out all by yourself nobody cares about your life, they only care about your work ethic and your knowledge.

A lot of it you won't even need irl, to be honest. I'm studying accounting at the moment, and also working in the field (a cadetship). The majority of the stuff I am studying at university has almost no relevance to the profession, but alas, they need our university fees, so they chuck it all in there anyways.

Cheating isn't the fault of the person. It's because our education values results over knowledge.

They're cheating me out of thousands upon thousands of tuition and make me buy extremely overpriced books. In my university you can't really buy anyone's used books because most require the newest edition which coincidentally comes out every fucking year.

So ya, as long as I get my little sheet of paper stating I have my degree, I don't care really.

I didn't really think of that either... Here in Australia we pay around $4,500-$5,000 a semester. Generally, the shortest degree will be 3 years, so you're looking at just under $30,000 for a degree. And that's with the government support (international students are around 2x that or more).
Now, if you were to fail a subject / unit, that will cost of a lot of money. If it's a subject that's just required but not relevant to your thousands of dollars in fees for knowledge that is not necessary...

In my opinion, it's fine. Don't make yourself feel bad about it. In the end, everyone has the same results. Last year, I did non of my homework and only did some tests and missed my last exam. Guess what happened? I passed my class by doing nothing. :D

Cheating on these bs tests that they give you every week is fine as long as you put in the work when it matters like from February time in the il until June but the big tests the real ones never ever cheat on them

Derpends. If your in highschool you shouldnt cheat because if you plan on going to college, your going to be fucked if you dont know the shit you were supposed to learn in highschool. In college cheat it up all you want because you are not going to use half of the bullshit in your career that they make you learn.

    hell'ya
what about US School exams? I've never heard about this. Cause I'm Russian - here while studying at school you must DONE the Unified State Exam for three times - and last time you don't have permission to fail. If you failed - congratulations! You can't find job or continue study anymore. All life.
Is in USA practice something like this? My bear very interested.
