Bot Banning Spree

Well, since Jagex workers just returned from their vacation, there was a pretty big ban wave yesterday into today. I personally lost 3 out of 4 of my accounts, all botting the same thing.

Anyone else affected by this current bot ban wave?

 

Nope nothing here and im not running and good scripts right now but still nothing banned yet.

 

If they were botting the same thing, that doesn't necessarily make a 'ban wave'.

 

I was reading on TriBot, and a bunch of people were banned also. I was just wondering if any Sythe Users were affected.

What were you botting?

 

Fletching. 2 separate IPs. Odd thing.. i had 6 on one and 5 on the other. The one with 6 had 4 banned but 2 not and the one with 5 had 4 and not 1.

I hate fletching, but its hard to find a decent script that has low reqs and makes good money

 

Had my main banned. 1200+ Skill level with about 20m+ on there. Big loss. 07 RS account, not EOC

 

Nothing banned here, but heard from a few guys they got their accounts banned.

NO wonder we hit 20k+ users - no bans happening

Dropped to 16k now. LOL

 

I was botting GDK, high ban rate. Knew the risks, took them anyways

I personally got 1 of my pures banned :/ sad loss

 

Happened to me while botting mining.

 

East or west? I haven't had any issues at west dragons yet, knock on wood.

 

none yet, only botting one account atm though, learned my lesson from botting too many...will not bot on my main ever again however as it already recieved a macroing minor in the summer :3

Bit curious (contemplating delving into botting again; haven't since pre-eoc days), these 'high-ban rates', if I were to essentially baby-sit my bot, and had a relatively human-like one, would it fall under the same scope, or are all of these bans due to people botting multiple accounts, being very obvious (stuck at randoms etc), suicide botting, etc.

I know botting always carries a risk, but I'm not sure of Jagex's current bot-catching capabilities for 07scape

 

No bans on my end . Just got to stay under the radar.
