Cigarettes?

Alright well in my life I have smoked cigarettes and enjoyed it. I did it for about 1 year and liked the smell. I would buy a new pack at least once a week of parliament or new ports. I quit because my teeth have become a bit yellow. I want to get you guys opinion on cigarettes. Do you get bothered by the smell or someone smoking next you? Or do you not care?

 

Personally I don't mind it at all, and most of the time I actually like how it smells. (Unless someones been sitting in their car smoking for a half hour, then its overwhelmingly strong on their clothes)

That being said I know it bothers my family a lot, I can see them gag every time they get near someone who is smokng.

 

I find the smell unapealling in my opinion. Although I do smoke Dokha, the smell is at least masked with herbs and the like.

 

Cancer sticks are bad my dude, and a lot of people get offended quickly by the smell and take strong dislike to you (mom & dad both do this). I personally don't mind the smell but there are lots of people who do. Check out the link below.

There's little worse when you're on public transport and a smoker sits next to you; the smell is absolutely awful.

Occasionally I'll smoke socially at parties, but I haven't done that in a long time. Not to mention the last thing I want is a nicotine addiction. I'd rather use a bong or vap for weed to be honest.

 

my dad was a chain smoker for the first 13 years of my life and then he decided to get healthy so i was basically exposed to that shit for a long time so i kind of enjoyed the smell of it but i cant really smoke the stronger ones. once i took a drag on a .5 and started coughing and then just threw up

 

The smell makes me sick, but I do tend to smoke them when I'm drunk regardless.

 

Its really up to you, because the majority of people would say they dont like the smoke so they wouldnt like to walk by you on the street smoking or anything like that so you have to ask yourself if you care what they think and if you will base the way you live on other people. Alternate options would be a vape pen or hooka (smoke is not harsh at all especially compared to cigs and you still get a nice nicotine buzz)

 

Smoking is something that I would consider to be not as bad as the media portrays it to be. Don't get me wrong there are definitely health effects to be thought of when it comes to smoking but at the end of the day it's your choice no matter what. Personally I don't mind the smell of smoke nor the after affects of the smell on somebody after they finish smoking. Perhaps I would suggest getting into vaping or something of that sort instead of the cigarettes. I find myself occasionally smoking cigarettes at parties which is something I would really like to get out of and through the usage of e-cigarettes I've started getting out of that habit

 

Dude i just recently stopped smoking...it was the best thing ive ever done. i feel alot healthier and i look alot healthier. its not worth it.

 

I don't like smoking just for the fact that it impairs your lungs, and with longer use, your physical capability.

I personally prefer chewing tobacco. I have no problem with that, or a cigar once in a while.

 

Ever try e-cigarettes? They're actually not so bad.

I have 1-2 about once a week, just while I'm at parties so I can keep warm while everyone else is outside smoking. People always talk about the taste/flavor/buzz or whatever they get from them, but it really isn't noticable or worth the money and health issues.

 

You're obviously going to get a lot of different opinions on smoking. No one is going to recommend it though because they clearly aren't good for you. It's your decision though.

I've been smoking for over 10 years and I've been around it all my life. Of course I regret ever starting, but at the same time I don't plan on quitting anytime soon. I get too much satisfaction out of them now and it's just become a part of my life unfortunately. I definitely smoke too much though. It's never good to be addicted to anything and have to deal with cravings, but becoming truly addicted to nicotine is a process, at least it was for me. Even after years of smoking, I could make a pack last at least a week and go days without one. Rarely had cravings unless I was drinking or using. I'm definitely hooked now though. I can just take a few hits every so often and be fine, but I'll usually kill a pack in a day when I have them. It's not that I like the smell or taste, it's just something that I've become so used to and it doesn't bother me at all. It's not a cheap habit if you're smoking a lot. I know plenty of people who smoke just from time to time like if they're drinking or something and have always been that way. It is possible to smoke without becoming dependent on cigarettes. It's really up to you and whether you enjoy them or not. You know the risks, so do what you want.

In my opinion it smells bad and is expensive!
