Crypto-Currency Discussion Forum

Sythe has been looking to involve itself more with crypto-currency, which is definitely a natural fit for the site. Currently, there are places to trade cryptos on Sythe, but nowhere to specifically discuss them. We should look into creating a forum where Crypto-Currencies of all kinds (BTC, LTC, NMC, etc.) can be discussed.

 

I support this. Could also be a subsection of market discussion.

 

I completely support this. Lately I've had a lot of questions about crypto-currencies and really have no clue where to talk about it. I see no harm from this, and I know a few members of the site are big into crypto-currency so why not.

 

I've seen a decent amount of crypto currency related threads recently, and I personally would be interested in such as section. I also think that it'd go well with the implementation of the sythe btc wallet escrow system.

 

This is a good idea. Especially with more and more different kinds of crypto-currency growing. I would be interested in such a section.

 

Support, imo there are more than enough threads about this, and people seeking help on using this type of currency's have a place to ask on Sythe, which is pretty cool.

 

I support this as well as crypto - currency is getting more and popular and as a virtual goods trading Sythe im sure a section dedicated to this would be appreciated by traders

 

Support. Always good to add more places to discuss subjects like this. CryptoCurrency is becoming extremely popular nowadays, we should jump on the bandwagon.

 

Definitely makes sense to have a section for discussion and possible sharing of knowledge on the matter. Crypto-currency takes some time to grasp, people investing in BTC or the like without thinking about it might lose everything.

 

I could see this section getting a lot of activity with the amount of publicity crypto-currencies have gotten recently. Support.

 

I have only one fear that the forum would not be as active as we think. But with that being said I think it's only natural for us to have a forum to discuss bitcoins and other currencies as it is really going to be the future for black market sites such as Sythe.

Think about it,
- Guides on how to visualise bitcoins, what they truly are.
- Guides on how you buy/sell bitcoins.
- Guides on accepting bitcoins as a payment method
- Discussion about new crypto's
- Discuss what exchange would work best
- Exchange ideas and opinions on the current market.
- Discuss what you should do with bitcoins

Etcetera etcetera

 

Hah you totally read my mind, I was going to make a suggestion for a Crypto Discussions section but hadn't gotten around it yet.

Definitely support this idea.

 

Right, but where are those topics now? Discussions for the things you just mentioned are not prevalent in the market discussion forum and by simply adding a new does not mean those topics are going to magically appear.

I think if there was a necessity for a forum such as this we would see a number of topics in the market discussion forum today.

That said though, I still offer my support as I think virtual currencies are to be the future of Sythe and we should embrace it.

 

True, doesn't mean I don't want this to happen because I think activity in this section will come after it has gotten a private section.
Cryptocurrency is a big market, and we should try to get such a section active enough to stay.

It's going to take work, but hey, it might be worth it.

 

We can coordinate pump and dumps!

No need to label it that name... Perhaps simply coincidentally we all bought at the same time and happened to sell together too ^_^ . Call it teamwork lol.
