For all those who can't access the page right now, runescape.com was attacked by a hacking group called DERP.

Well hey.. to be fair on them, everybody needs to do something with their life. Even if it's putting down websites and being lil cyber "criminals". I guess these geeks do not amount to anything significant in life, so this is what they've resorted to. It's low, it's arrogant, and it's comical.

 

I didn't lose anything (on my main) but I was wondering why my bots were not up when I came back after starting them last night.

Don't know how many hours of bot time I lost but I know it sucks that I still can't connect to the servers.

 

I was logged in during this whole thing and wasn't affected one bit. Odd

 

Why do kids do this? Why don't they get girlfriends, get proper jobs, start families etc. There is nothing to gain from bringing down a gaming website. Its baffling.

 

Some people just like the thrill of it. The thrill of making over 100,000+ people say what? Who did this? It's probably pretty thrilling if you ask me. Obviously not worth it though.

 

How are you a skid if you can bring down league servers, runescape servers, club penguin servers, etc lmao
