Think about EoC for a minute.

Just think it deeply in your head how fun the game was Pre-EoC whether you staked,flowered,skilled,Bossed, or PKed. The game was in moderate state, worlds filled, you could find stakes,clans, & Fights. Then this guy here


decided "I love combat that's interactive, I think we need a big change to our combat system" - Quote from RuneFest. Decides to completely revamp Armour, Weapons, Graphics, & Combat to 100% overhaul. After the majority of players stated they did NOT want this new combat system. Jagex thought they'd already invested too much into the system but hadn't realized in their money hungry minds that it would be better to just bite the loss then lose all those membership subscriptions.

I don't get it. Why are people still on about this, it's been discussed many times over already. I actually prefer the current Runescape over the so-called pre-eoc. It was the nerfed combat system that really made me quit back then. What's the point of playing when you get 1 hit killed as soon as you enter the wilderness. If Jagex hadn't changed something there probably wouldn't be a Runescape right now. I think you should give it a try. Many things changed since 2012 and it's not as bad as you think it is.

 

To be honest I have tried and I just can't find purpose in the game any more. I loved going back & forth from hosting - Pking and that's all I really did. Can't really do either now.

 

I think we all need to realize that typically people are opposed to change. We are creatures of habit and for those of us who grew up playing RS2, it's difficult for us to transition to RS3.

Those who have only known RS3 as it is now and have little to no experience with RS2 would find RS2 horrendous to play and pointless.

I'm sticking to old school because it's what I know, but instead of constantly complaining about change why don't you just embrace it and find positives instead of picking at the negatives?

 

The armour update is the most atrocious. Cant $#(%ing STAND the new armour looks.

 

Mate eoc's been out for over a year now, and people still are bitching, how about you just STOP instead keep bitching?
No offence, just trying to get a good reason.

 

You have nothing better to do then to come into this section and post this?

If you don't like it then don't play.. You even got a relaunch of the older game that everyone apparently loves. Consider yourself lucky.

 

There is no need for a thread like this to be made again. We all understand that not everyone cares for EoC/07.
