Yasuo needs a buff!

Just kidding literally most OP champ ever created, and this is coming from someone who uses jynx a lot!


Literally hardest champ to shut down late game... Any tips on how to deal with him?

 

According to lolking he has a 44% winr ate, the third lowest so it suggest he may be OP but he is hard to play with, personally I haven't played against a Yasuo to say "wow he's OP"

I've played against only like 2 good ones since his release, I've play with/against bad ones too much to count.

I think he's fine where he is, for counter play just know some hard cc will shutdown a glass cannon and if you keep him from being able to use his ult its all the better.

 

Early assistance from your jungler is key to winning lane. His passive shield lets him poke unchallenged and he can just resort to using his Q knock up to solely poke. Plus the fact he can cover immense distances with his dash. But yeah, It's kind of like playing against a Riven. They'll expect you to go in to get that one piece of farm but you need to remember not to risk dying just to get 1 CS. Let him push up to you turret and farm safely.

 

Terrible vs hard engage teams/champs such as Jax, Trynd, Rennek. He's really only good as a cheese mid in competitive play.

 

Yasuo is God awful. I can honestly say that I wouldn't mind if they completely removed him from the game right now.

 

His ults technically useless unless you've got like a Janna and Malphite on your team, that's my opinion though..

 

Orianna ult also counts as being knocked into the air. Same with a J4 knock up combo and a thresh flay I believe.

 

He's in a really, really bad spot right now. And not just because people don't know how to use him, but because he's weak.

 

I'd have to disagree a bit there. His early game is pretty strong if played properly.

Is he really that bad? I've only played against him once in a 4v5 as veigar and i played really passively.

 

Maybe in silver, but, no. Not really. He isn't a competitive pick for a reason.

He's played as a cheese pick mid for fun, and that's about as viable as he'll ever be in his current state.

 

The only playstyle I've seen him be viable with is as a DPS tank in the toplane. You also have to build your team around him a bit aka rock an ori mid, janna support o, cho jungle or something of that nature.

 

Coming from the person that thinks jinx is op. :/

He isn't a competitive pick because they can't use him yet. lol

 

It's almost unanimous amongst professional players that he's shit. Do you watch streams?

He won't see play.

 

His early game is god awful but once he gets a few items, he's pretty good. He can 1v1 most people and his team fight isn't that bad with more aoe cc like wukong/annie.

 

He really fills the role of the very typical "assassin" right now. Strong enough in lane, but he's useless if he doesn't get out of the laning phase with a couple of kills.

However, a Yasuo with an extra item on the rest of the game can be fucking annoying as hell because he's so mobile.

If the enemy team picks a Yasuo and you're scared about it, grab Jax or someone else who can survive being in your face and still win the fight.
