How did you get 94 mage?

Did MTA for 94 mage, personally I think it was the cheapest and most efficient method at the time.

 

bot cursed in caves was dead cheap and took a week

 

im 84 mage, and so far from alching yew/mage longs. but i did that in the first month of osrs, haven't raised it since..

i actually had a guy going for 99 fletching, so i was actually making money, and was buying his longs for the first few weeks of osrs and was one of the top ppl with mage, and my dumbass went and got cleaned from the flower poker from the first 2 weeks it was around. had that never happened, id most likely be 94-99 mage

 

I autoclicked in pest control bank. Used Govind's Auto clicker, he's an admin here at Sythe.

 

I got mines by alching. You can cast Ice Burst since money isn't an issue.

 

I did it within the first month of old school. Spent 20m on alching maple longbows (u) but it was all botted anyway !

 

i found out bursting at ape atoll skeletons in the dungeon you normaly go to for chinning is great mage exp, but it will cost you..

 

This was my method until 88 magic (and 88 ranged), didn't bot anything except for autoclicking the alchs.

• Mine/buy iron.
• Superheat iron
• Smith iron knifes
• Use iron knifes on yaks
• Pick up all hides, keep some cash in your inv, when your inventory is full of hides walk to the tanner and tan all hides before you bank them.
• Craft the hides into yak hide legs.
• Alch the yakhide legs for 300 ea.

I'm now going to train at MTA with the highest level enchant spell (that requires a lava staff and 88 magic).

 

I pretty much did string jewellery from 80 to 94 magic. its pretty afkable compared to other methods without botting ( 120k xp or so an hour)

Mostly metal drags and metal drags with alching mixed in (I don't know if that still works though, this was a long time ago)

 

Im not 94 mage yet only 77 but plan to alch

I actually made my own nature runes and then alched, it took forever but actually made okay profits

 

Bot it out easiest way.

 

Using a bot to smelt steel bars (the magic spell) would turn in a very small loss w/ competitive xp/hr rates.

 

Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up doing stun/aching with a bot. Got 185-190k xp/h. Cost me a pretty penny but took only 2 days!

 

theres a bigger chance being caught doing stun alching, i personally botted the magic i did @ pest control bank

 

want to shed some light on how much gp/exp?

I did fight cave cursing and it cost me about 2m for 20-94 magic. What was your total loss?
