Jagex old tracker

Hi there,

About 2 years ago when jagex did that bot nuke and reflections bot went down (impsoft client) they did something to get information about who bought scripts from rsbots.net and I was one of them. With my information they linked my account on rsbots.net with my rs acc and sent me that email saying they were going to track me and they werent going to ban me if i stop with that and all that shit. The problem is that i got overall maxed after that training myself (yeah, im idiot) and i quit about a year ago, when 07 wasnt up, and i want to come back to rs to bot 07 and do some pvp with ANOTHER acc. Do you think they are still tracking my IP? Is there a problem if i have logged into my old account on this pc and start botting another one?

 

i don't think so, i also got the same message back in 10-11 when i was using nexus, but i continued botting. My main got banned about 2 months ago, also i don't think they traced my account for about 2 years, just bot smart since jagex ban a lot of ppl atm

 

I bot 10+ accounts at a time just on my home computer and get 20+ perm bans a month. I still log in occasionally to my personal account. Never got banned or anything

I think your fine. I wouldnt bot though on it.

 

Im afraid because on the email they said they were going to report me to the california forum or something like that and i could have to pay a high tax.

 

a bunch of ppl (also me) got this, don't worry about that, they said they will report you if you use impsoft software in the future, impsoft is dead, you can't use them anymore, you are fine, i also bottet after that message.

they just sent it to make a sign, they wanted to look how many naive kids believe it, just don't give a fk about it, they won't report you

 

The email that you received was a phisher.

 

u received the email from the real jagex like they said in a update about the bot nuke or u got those emails from idiots trying to get ur acc details?

 

i directly got this in my inbox from my runescape acc, so yeah it came from jagex

 

I got the same message, basically, one bot got in legal trouble with Jagex and gave email addresses registered to the bot site, Jagex compared it with email addresses registered to RS accounts and sent that to a LOT of people. It basically doesn't mean shit.

 

If it was 2 years ago you'll definitely be fine. There investigations aren't any where near that sophisticated.
