Requirements for good YouTube Channel?

Hello!

I have been added 4 RuneScape videos to my YouTube channel.
I'm just wondering that is there any way to get my channel / videos more enjoyable?
Am I using wrong kind of songs in my videos or what?
i usually get something like under 300views, 5likes and 3 dislikes or something...

Obelix wielding a DDS on the YouTube header was enough to make me give you some views, that's awesome. Would give you a sub but I don't have a YouTube account, sorry.

The ones I watched were pretty good, decent music, editing was good, content itself was good, etc. If you post your videos on here occasionally it could help you get a few more views from Sythe members. Other than that I can't suggest much as I'm not a YouTuber myself, but the vids are good.

Just watched the Visage vid and noticed you have accounts called Asterixmus AND Obelixmus. You are my new favourite person in Runescape. Hooray for indomitable gauls.

 

Try advertising your videos on forums man, that should help you out.

 

You should try streaming on twitch might get you some publicity, and you should use nice chill songs

 

I think he wants to promote his youtube channel man, not his twitch

 

Well still, he could advertise his youtube while he streams , who knows he might enjoy streaming!

 

You have good editing and content, and seem to know what you're doing, so it shouldn't be too hard to expand your audience. Try to advertise your channel and videos wherever you can, especially in-game. As others mentioned, livestreaming is also a good option, if you're into that kind of thing.

Thanks for answer! anyways.. i got bad news because Asterixmus is banned for real world trading.. what the fuck? i have been doin' some giveaways in twitch etc. I have been discussing about it with Jagex but he is still saying that i have been real world traded..

Well i have been streaming sometimes, but currently my computer is so slow and old so i will forgive with streaming. New computer inc in january or february then im able to stream again =)

 

You should stream whenever you get the chance, go on other sites and advertise, and even advertise in-game.

People are bound to check out your content.

Nice videos, you ought to do livestreaming/twitching so you can get a following behind you. Ouch about the RWT ban, make sure you contest it well!

Pretty simple; Make quality videos that will keep people interested in what you create. Everything will come with time.

 

Get a nice logo, pay for a nice background. Use a good recording software such as camtasia. you can get a free key from a video on youtube, just search "camtasia eight studio key." then, just make nice consistent videos. make sure they're good quality depending on what type of videos you are making.

eventually, learn to edit. you can get a keygen and get sony vegas and learn to edit. i learned myself when i was very young. and over time you get better, and learn more. its all about practice. thats the fun part, is as you get older and the more time that passes, you look back at your first videos and laugh at the quality.

honestly, the best advice i can give you though, is to stay consistent with your videos, but make sure they are decent quality. dont put three videos out a year. put out one, once a week. or maybe start at two a month, etc.
