Oldschool Runescape in 2014

I would argue the opposite.

The reason that '07 RuneScape had so much hype was because people were ecstatic to have the game back to a state where they actually enjoyed it.

Frequent updates eventually brought us from RS2 to RS3 (EoC), which, in all honesty, is nothing short of a disaster in terms of RuneScape history.

 

yes but when all these updates are being polled before actual implementation, then it would never hit eoc/rs3. Dude, imagine playing a game that never received any updates. Wouldnt you get bored of doing the same thing over and over? You've finished all quests, maxed out the game, now what?

See, you gotta think long term. People get bored of repetitive gameplay, whether they log on to do gwd all day, or pk all day, it does not matter.

The reason it had so much hype was because it gave us, the players who hated EOC, a chance to continue where we left off. Infact, I could almost say that most of us wanted pre-eoc, which was the original idea when the petition was made for this game. The creator of the petition, so_wreck3d, specifically said 2011/2012 version of the game, yet we were given 2007 because it was the last possible backup.

 

Im expecting clan wars and probably a new boss. I just hope they dont go the same way they took for rs3 and make 07scape a pre eoc era exactly as it was.

 

Every piece of content will be voted for/polled before actual implementation you dont have to worry about shitty updates haha
