MS Paint error.

Little error seems to have happened the last few days with my MS Paint.

Everything is normal, except the point it chooses to draw from is a little way to the right of the actual mouse pointer.

This is a quick example:



If you can see it, the dot slightly to the left of the top of the line is where I actually clicked to start. I then dragged the mouse down and right, ending slightly to the left of the bottom of the line.


Any thoughts on what might have caused this and, even better, any suggestions on what may fix it?


It's not massively interfering with my daily life, but it can be troublesome. I tried to draw someone a map to Narnia earlier and because of this problem this was the best I could do:

 

First: have you tried restarting? Sometimes callibration can be off after running some programs/games.

If it's not specific to MS Paint (try paint.net) then it's your PC's hardware or mouse settings. If it is specific to MS Paint, uninstall and then re-install.

 

I'm 99% sure I've restarted since it began, because it has been happening for the past few days. I'll try again in a bit when I shutdown my laptop, and if that doesn't do anything I'll attempt a reinstall tomorrow. Thanks.

 

If it's affecting your Narnia maps, you know that shit needs to be done to get it sorted. ASAP.
