@Instagram Communication

Similar to the Steam request (that will hopefully be implemented).

Would it be too much to get a button included for Instagram?
It'd give us a chance to better know members (and shamelessly judge them ).

Discuss?

 

No real need on a forum such as Sythe.org. More so I doubt anyone would even use/want to use it.

 

As far as I can tell, Steam and those like XBL/PSN/Skype have relevance because they're specifically used for gaming and/or communicating. Unless I'm mistaken, Instagram is just a photo-sharing site like any other.

As Sellerman said, seems like it's taking it a bit too far. Besides, who really wants to see who uses Instagram? I'm sure that would inevitably lead to some sort of "hai guiz look at me I can add the most filters to these hipster as fuck photos I took of my meal" circlejerk. And nobody wants that.

 

Can't see a use for instagram, and I doubt that that many sythe users actually use it. It'd be annoying as it'd just have threads full of instagram pictures with filters and other stuff such as 20 spaghetti Bolognese pics a day.

 

You guys kind of missed the idea.

It was meant to add a more personal aspect to it, to better know the people you already interact with on a regular basis.

& I don't think that it'd turn into that. I don't even know anyone with a brain that functions at such a low level.

Was just a suggestion, no need to take it to that level.

 

I for one don't use Instagram and I don't know that many people that do. I don't think it would be worth the trouble.

Unfortunately though, I don't think it's crucial or important enough to have something like this. Most people either;

• Don't use it
• Don't want random people on their personal accounts
• Wouldn't use it

Feel free to advertise Social Media in your signature if you like, but this isn't quite suiting to Sythe.
